Large Nephrite Jade Artisan Donut Pendant Leather Cord Good Luck Longevity Aging Unisex

I'd been looking for a Jade pendant as a gift for a Jade lover for some time. I'd scoured street fairs thinking that I'd find some craftsman who made something interesting, but the prices were unbelievable for commercially made, generally uninteresting pieces. Then I turned to good old Amazon... This piece is gorgeous. The thing about Jade is that is doesn't need any adornment. It's spectacular in itself.This pendant comes in a box with the creator's info on the front. The jade which is a 'doughnut' is beautiful, smooth and a dreamy green. 2 1/4 inches in diameter. The cord design is great but the cord itself is a little cheap looking; it can be easily replaced. Anyway, I'm delighted and also delighted that Amazon is a venue for authentic artisans.

Apparently nickle is all over the metal parts including the clasp, and I'm allergic to nickle. I got a bad rash on the back of my neck.
