When I received the package, I saw a fully packed, beautiful, big ginseng slices. BUT, after a few days, I noticed that there are small slices hidden below the big slices. It’s a little bit disappointing but it’s ok, UNTILL I noticed that there’s still thick layers forming plastic hidden at the bottom of the box.It’s deceiving & misguiding. I don’t believe them anymore.

The quality of these ginseng slices appears to be excellent. Although I don't have extensive experience with ginseng and am still learning about its benefits, I have heard that it has been used by Native Americans to alleviate headaches and is often times seen as an adaptogen, which helps manage stress and regulate hormonal changes. While I cannot personally attest to its effects yet, I am hopeful that it will provide these benefits.Regarding the taste of these dried ginseng coins, they are not overly strong. Initially, there is a slight bitterness, but as I chew, they release a subtle earthy flavor. The box you receive is quite large and should last a long time. It measures about 5x7 inches and is 1 inch thick. The coins vary in size, ranging from approximately 1 inch to 1/2 inch in diameter, and are about 1 to 1.5 mm in thickness. Overall, this is a high-quality box of ginseng, and I highly recommend it! :)

I have been trying things the last few years to improve my health and although I've had ginseng before this is the first pure version of it I've tried.I really like how easy this is to add to soup, I've added a small amount to various soups I've made the last few weeks and noticed an energy boost a little bit after eating it. In addition it helps me with my digestive health so this is a great product for me.The price is a bit expensive, but this is a huge supply with most meals just needing 2 or 3 flakes so it will definitely last awhile. I also like the no BS packaging so you can see exactly what you are getting.

This ginseng is really nice. The quality is top notch. I usually buy my own ginseng and dehydrate it myself. This however is sliced perfectly! It looks very fresh! I make my own ginger sauce with it as well and ferment it. The price is high, but it is made in the USA and as much work as it is to slice and dehydrate it, I would buy this again especially since it is USA made! Overall I am very pleased with the ginseng, look, taste, texture and feel. A+

Taste is terrible. Hard to get past but was worth the fight to try it out, had no noticeable benefits at all. Did not help my energy levels. This did not work for me in any way. Definitely not worth the price.

I have never tried raw ginseng slices before and wanted to give this a shot. As far as flavor, it is definitely an acquired taste, one that I am not sure I will get fully used to. I tried chewing on one (per suggested uses) and that only lasted a few minutes before I had to spit it out. I then tried it in some tea, to which I used about 8 slices. It fully flavored the already flavored tea, swelling the slices during steeping, but unfortunately in my case did not complement well. But now that I know, I will plan my tea selection better to compliment, as it was way better than chewing raw. I can say, I have price compared and feel these are right on point with other of likeness and the packaging was sealed well and practically bursting from the ginseng pieces. Love that its stateside and this company seems to really want to give you a bang for your buck.

I'd never tried ginseng before, but I'd heard so much about it and was excited to give it a shot. I'd always been intimidated by the price at Costco, but I finally took the plunge.When I opened the box, I was surprised to find it half-filled with bubble wrap. It seemed like a lot of empty space for such a pricey item. I transferred the ginseng to an 8-ounce airtight container and it filled it up perfectly. The original packaging is really just for show. It would be much more practical if it were reusable.My first impression of the ginseng itself was curious. I decided to try a dry piece first. The taste is a combination of sweet, bitter, and earthy. It's not unpleasant, but it's definitely not terrible.Then, I made a tea using about 8 slices. I didn't add anything else to get the pure taste. It made a very drinkable tea with a nice sweetness. The slices softened quickly in boiling water and released a lot of ginseng flavor.Overall, this seems like good quality ginseng, grown in a suitable area for its cultivation.
