Great vacuum, even after 6 months of use
I’ve had the Roborock Q7 Max for a little over half a year now and I’m honestly impressed with how well it still performs. Setup was quick and simple when I first got it. The LiDAR mapped my whole place in minutes and the app made it really easy to split up rooms, add no go zones, and even set areas where it shouldnt mop because of rugs. The app itself is really good. It tracks cleaning history, shows where the vacuum has been, and even lets me send it to just one room. I connected it with Alexa so now I just say clean the living room and it actually does. Vacuuming is excellent. The suction power is still strong after months of use and it picks up dust, crumbs, and pet hair like a champ. On hardwood it leaves the floors looking spotless and on carpet it pulls out way more dirt than I thought was there. It sometimes leaves a thin line along the very edge of baseboards but that’s a common thing with robot vacuums. Overall the cleaning power is very reliable. The mop works fine but it is more of a light maintenance mop. It drags a damp pad that helps with dust and everyday marks, but if something dries or gets sticky you will need to mop it yourself. I use it mainly to keep the floors looking fresh in between deeper cleans and it does a good job at that. Battery life has been solid. On a full charge it can do my downstairs which is about 1500 square feet. If it ever runs low it just goes back to the dock, recharges, and finishes by itself. That has saved me from having to restart it manually which is nice. Maintenance is easy. The dustbin needs to be emptied every couple of runs especially if you have pets. The filter is not washable but I just tap mine out between cleanings and that has helped it last longer. Hair does get wrapped on the main brush sometimes but it only takes a few minutes to cut it out. After 6 months I can say this has been a great buy. It saves me time every week, the suction is still powerful, and it runs without much effort from me. The mop is just average but as a robot vacuum it’s excellent. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable robot vacuum that actually makes life easier.

Best vacuum &mop robot for the price
I did not expect this robot to be this good. At the price that it is, (500) it’s totally worth it and does a lot more than my old shark that I had that was almost exact same price. Here are the pros: 1. it maps your house so it knows where everything is (also accommodates for multilevel houses so you can save the different maps of the different floors) 2. You can literally look at it on the app and see exactly where it is and what it’s doing. 3. It takes up very little space. 4. It has a modern look. It’s super easy to clean, with the rubber wheel instead of the traditional one, and the easy to remove water tank/dustbin. 5. Does an amazing job at Cleaning and it’s efficient and fast. 6. You can tweak so many settings it’s amazing. You can clean a specific spot, a specific zone, a specific it’s extremely flexible. 7. It easily finds its dock and literally always says out loud what it’s about to do. 8. it doesn’t bump super hard into my things. My old one used to bump so hard and I had to move so many things out of its way. This does a gentle push, which I love. 9. It’s super smart, it knows to stop when it gets to the stairs so that it doesn’t fall down, and it switches to a higher section when it’s on top of the carpet. Cons: None that I can think of! I’ve had it for about a month now if any cons come up, I will come back and edit this comment. If it’s not edited I’m still having a wonderful time with this little helper.

Be Careful
We purchased this machine to replace an earlier Roborock which worked fine. It definitely has not been a hassle free machine. We contacted support 5 days or so after the warranty expired. They initially were going to refund our purchase, but apparently some one who could tell time noted we were a few days out of warranty and the buyback offer was rescinded. Promise not kept. The reason we were late in checking the purchase time was we thought we'd had the machine for a longer period of time as it functionality has been a problem for a very long time. We were surprised it had only been a year. We purchased the machine because: we were replacing an older Roborock which had performed well this machine was advertised ~to have longer battery life ~to have greater suction power ~to handle pet hair better ~ to have improved mapping with room selection etc What we got: This machine needs a lot of attention. Sensors and unit cleaned when notified and I've been doing it after every cleaning. More maintenance than the old machine. ~This machine was advertised to have longer battery life. Not really, particularly if you use the higher power settings plus we have a larger house and it takes 3-4 hours to recharge and three rounds to vacuum the entire house. ~ This machine was advertised to have greater suction power. Seemed like a good thing, but when it transitions from tile to rugs, it pulls up the rug edges and then cannot proceed and/or transmits the "help I'm trapped" code. So we run it on a reduced power setting and have taped down all the rugs ~Advertised to handle pet hair better. Does do that ~Improved mapping with room selection etc. I like the room selection option allowing us to vacuum the house over a couple of days. However, the map degrades over time, the vacuum gets confused and does not clean the entire area. We also have to pick up all objects as the machine will bang and waste major time trying to sweep a phantom area. It has knocked off some floor trim by getting lost requiring floor repair. There is no way to archive the map to restore the original and having a large house I don't like using the new map or re-map feature. Other: I knock off the filter after every run (3 runs needed to clean the house) and if I'm not super careful, the latching tab breaks off. So, I was going through filters too often. Error messages are: Trapped, can't find the dock, clean the laser sensors occurs to frequently imo. Afraid to try the mopping feature as I'd fear wet rugs everywhere. Summary: ~Poor customer service response. ~The vacuum requires a lot of maintenance ~Map deteriorates over time and the machine gets confused. Could not find a way to archive a baseline map ~Does not handle floor to carpet or obstacles particularly well

Wanda the robovac
Best purchase ever ... ok it's tied with my heated mattress pad. After my cleaning ladies rescheduled for the last time - my texts to them were all about rescheduling - it is such a relief to just move a few things out of the way and let Wanda do her thing. And even more of a pleasure to leave the house & take care of other things. I've had this baby more than six months. I use it every other week or more frequently as needed. The first two times I ran Wanda, I followed her all over the house, making small adjustments or just admiring. I moved some furniture and picked up the shag bath mats which are too thick. And then I noticed that the air felt fresh & clean. A surprise. The app with a map of my house was definitely over the top, but I've gotten used to it. I have to admit, I haven't yet tried the water tank. But reliable no-hassle vacuuming is terrific, and Wanda delivers. Go for it, you won't be sorry.

Pretty good but not amazing
The vacuum function is decent. It is pretty limited on the size of object it can suck up reliably and the dustbin inside the vacuum needs to be emptied basically every day. It does a pretty good job mapping the rooms and setting the schedule has been really nice. I was excited about the mop feature but it was a big let down. It just sprays a little water and then drags a cloth across the floor. If you actually have a mess on the floor the mop will just smear the mess all over your house instead of cleaning it up. We stopped using the mop and just stick to the vacuum. The vacuum is fairly loud so we set it to run as we are getting ready for bed so that it doesn't disrupt watching movies at night but doesn't wake us up in the middle of the night when it starts going.

Very satisfied
I have had this robot vacuum for a couple of months now. I shopped for vacuums during black Friday, and after seeing not-great reviews on a bigger name-brand option, I found Roborock. After some research, I decided to purchase this vacuum as it fit my budget. I LOVE this vacuum. Suction power is much higher than my previous Shark robot vacuum. The mop option was a bonus as I was I didn't necessarily want or need a mop function. However, being able to mop my kitchen floor on demand with little effort from me, is a great feature. The integration with the app is seamless. It only took one trip around my house to map all the rooms and spaces. After mapping, I was easily able to use the app to set up "no-go zones". This was especially nice since the rug in my living room is too high so the vacuum does get stuck on it. I can add furniture within the app too (like a bed or couch). I can also set up different vacuum schedules. For instance, I have it run every morning but that daily schedule does not include my kid's bedroom since there are typically toys and clothes on the floor that may cause issues. When I want to vacuum all rooms (when I know all of the floors are clear), it is a simple tap in the app. The robot is continuously mapping when it runs, as well. So, if your initial mapping included a piece of furniture that gets moved, it will "see" that the next time it runs and clean the floor where the furniture once was. I HIGHLY recommend this vacuum!

Good product.
This is an upgrade from our previous bump-n-go vac. Works well. Suction is good and automatically increases when it detects carpet. Programming your house is probably going to take some tweaking over time but the ability to break it down by rooms is great. Don't have to run around closing doors to keep it out of certain rooms. Have not tried the mopping yet but the reservoir seems pretty small. I can also imagine the combo cleaning solution/dirt cup being a pain to manage, but we did not get it for mopping so not a big issue for us. The dirt cup could be a little bigger though, but it is simple enough to empty. Can't speak to Alexa integration but it works fine with our Google Home for basic cleaning. Advanced cleaning functions must be activated in the AP, like scheduling, spot cleaning, etc. The AP has a bit of a learning curve but there are some fine people on Youtube who were a big help. Battery life is better than our old one and will easily do our 2000sqft carpet and tile main floor. Sorry, robot vacs still don't do stairs.

My Floors Have Never Looked This Good (And I Barely Lift a Finger)
This Roborock is a lifesaver. I hit start, it zooms around like it owns the place, and somehow my floors end up spotless. It dodges furniture better than I do, picks up everything, and even makes me feel like I’m living in the future. The best part? I get to sit down while it does all the work. If it ever asks for a raise, I might actually consider it.

best robot vacuum
I had irobot 690 and it's been doing ok for a few years, and then I decided to get a new one. Between RoboRock S7 and Q7, I finally decided to go with Q7, simply because Q7 has more suction power, and I dont have carpet in my apartment, so Q7 does a decent job mopping all hardwood floor. I had some hard time connecting it to WIFI in the beginning, but was able to do it through ipad instead of iphone. In terms of the vacuuming, I couldn't be happier with its performance. The belanced vacuum mode is suffient for hardwood floor, max mode is too loud, I guess it's more for carpet vacuuming. Compared to my old irobot, it's much quieter and more intelligent, the floor is much more cleaner after just one pass. I have a lab at home, it's perfect for cleaning dog hair. overall, very satisfied.

Great vacuum!
Highly recommend this here robot vacuum. It cleans in orderly lines and orders me to clean it. Very easy to maintain, and makes life with adhd much cleaner. It mops too which is nice, you’ll want to get more pads if you plan on using it a lot without cleaning the pad. Cleans my shag carpet very well and loudly, but not an unpleasant noise, just loud on carpets/max suction.

Robot vacuum as advertised
It takes three hours to clean my house, its battery life supports the whole clean without going back to charge. Pro: strong suction, long battery life, multi story capability, design different types of clean sessions Con: must remove mopping unit if needed to vacuum carpet, otherwise it won’t enter the room. Dust bin sharing real estate with water container. All in all, it’s worth the cost, I’ve tried 3 different brands, Roborock performance is the best.

So far I am happy with the purchase. It helps my poor back. I can enjoy a clean floor finally. I vacuum twice before doing a mop. Very clean!
