Lovely instrument
Looking forward to becoming proficient on the DUDUK. I, too, ordered this one as a result of falling in love with the sound after hearing Jenny Wren by Paul McCartney. First, I ordered a lesser model - sent it back because the quality that I had hoped for was lacking. I’m so happy that I ordered this one to replace it - it is fantastic! Would recommend it to anyone interested in learning to play this beautiful instrument!

Exquisite quality and fast delivery
I was so excited to receive the duduk much sooner than anticipated. The set comes with two reeds and full instructions on how to play the notes. I can add nothing wrong about this order and the item received. Everything was so smooth. Really really impressed and will definitely order again.

Its OK.
The instrument itself seems fine. I can only make sound with 1 of the 3 reeds that came with it.It has an extremely strong burned smell as well as a very strong varnish smell. When holding it, it sometimes feels sticky.

Beautiful Instrument
I am a professional musician and music teacher. I don’t know much about the duduk. I fell in love with the sound listening to Paul McCartney’s “Jenny Wren”. I had no idea what I was hearing. Hauntingly beautiful and comfortingly melancholic. I did some online research, listened to a few samples of traditional Armenian duduk music, and immediately ordered one. It took a few weeks to arrive from Armenia. It was so fun to play. Hard! One of the reeds was open pretty wide, so it took massive embouchure strength to produce a tone. The second reed I tried had a narrower opening, so it was easier, but the tone was smaller. That’s the trade off with all instruments, I find - mouthpieces are either easy to play or they sound amazing. So, I’m fine with that being the case for duduk, too. The one thing I find frustrating is the layout of the holes.. the spacing has to be the way it is for tuning, I get that. But, there is no ergonomic adjustment whatsoever. They’re drilled in a perfectly straight line, which makes it HARD to get your pinky to cover its hole. It could very well be this is part of the tradition for duduk construction, I don’t know. All I know is, when I pick it up to play, the only reason I set it down again as quickly as I do is because I can’t figure out how to contort my hands to get them to reach those holes, and I have fairly large hands..All in all, I’m very happy with my purchase.

Good seller
Came in on time, perfect condition. I play the flute but when I tried the duduk for the first time, I sounded like an animal dying hahaha but will get the hand of it 💪🏻

Disappointed
I bought this item thinking it would be really good quality as it’s just barely under the price of a 200 professional duduk. But I was quite disappointed to find that it could barely make a sound, is a bit of tune, and the reeds are quite sub par in comparison to some I have bought elsewhere. The only thing that I really like about this buy is the case, splendid work but it’s a shame that it’s contents weren’t crafted as well as it was.

Well Made ...
Very well made Duduk and even got an extra reed other than the two for 3 total reeds they were so kind to give me - the sound of this instrument is incredible !
