I tried so many pillows over the years. None of my other pillows can compare to the comfort of this. It comes with clear instructions for your own personal sleep and resting positions. I use mine upright when reading and watching TV. When ready for sleep change it to a lower position. I haven't used to elevate my legs. My bed has that feature. The only negative concern is that washing the cover is going to be hard to get off and on.

I had some trouble finding a good position that would work for me. The pillow itself is a good support but due to my body conditions I cannot have edges or odd angles or my circulation cuts off, sometimes rather badly even stopping my breath and waking me in a panic. In its normal configurations I was having trouble.I needed to sleep with my head elevated after a minor surgery and prefer to continue to do so due to digestive issues.I do not have a headboard but have a little space between my bed and a wall with a window. I was finally able to arrange the long part of the wedge into this space with the smaller part on my bed and then place my pillows into the angle space this creates, it's difficult to describe. The point being is that it works for me. I appreciate how this is constructed to allow some creativity.I am now able to sleep comfortably on my back or on my side with my head raised. I also use the wedge so I can sit up bed. I may find other positions over time. Ideally this wedge could have a less abrupt transition from the bed, maybe making it a little longer and thiner.The cover did have wrinkles at first but this has not been a problem. Its soft and supportive. Perfect size for me.

My daughter had surgery for a broken femur right at the knee. She also had a broken rib and could not lay flat without terrible pain. This allowed her to sleep semi upright. It was a life saver. We tried pillows and it worked ok but the support was not very good and they would slide around. We also tried husband pillows and they don’t support like this. She was more comfortable and confident it wouldn’t come out while she was sleeping with this. It didn’t smell and you can adjust the height. It has Velcro to hold the adjusted preference in place. It is all one piece but flips around to adjust the height. The cushion is very soft and zips off it you need to wash it. I tried it on the bed for watching tv and love it. She uses it now to do some if her leg exercises for physical therapy. . Highly recommend this.

After ordering I was loaned 3 wedge pillows for post surgery. I failed to notice $24 shipping to return this pillow - had I seen the return policy I would not have ordered. Refuse to donate money to shipping so opened the wedge. It is softer and more comfortable than any I was loaned

When I had major abdominal surgery, I knew that I wouldn't be able to roll over or sit up in bed for a while. This was wonderful for the first couple of weeks after I got home from the hospital. It was nice and firm and provided ample support for my entire torso and head. I would highly recommend if you have any abdominal surgeries planned.

If I eat one morsel of food after the forbidden hour of 6pm I suffer from terrible acid reflux. I often wake up to vomit said food morsel(s). Sometimes it happens even when I don't eat past the forbidden hours. And consuming alcohol at any point in the day guarantees a sleepless night. Don't even get me started on tomato sauce (because it's in everything.)According to my doctor this is all "fine" and there is nothing more to be done about this affliction. Not to be dramatic but almost every night is a battle. My own stomach has turned against me and responds to my complains only with acidic contempt.I do have one of those old person beds where the head goes up. Unfortunately my dear partner can not sleep if the head is raised even slightly. Princess and the Pea always notices the head up, even if it's just 2 inches. Naturally this means that when I suffer my affliction I do so while he slumbers peacefully. Rude.We can not purchase one of those split beds because this mattress is still too nice to trash, so I bought this pillow. It's comfortable enough and great to prop yourself up in bed if you are watching TV or reading. The fabric is also nice. Alas, I am unable to sleep while sitting up. I thought there would be a way to arrange this thing so that it only raised up a few inches. Or maybe I could sleep lower on it without trouble. I was wrong about that. Thus, the search continues for a pillow that can raise me up enough to keep my stomach contents on the inside, but not so much that I hurt my neck or can't sleep.Sadly, if you are in need of only a few inches to get your throat above your stomach for the evening then this isn't going to work for you. I deliver this news with melancholy. The search continues.
