Bandai 1/144 RG RX-0 Unicorn Gundam "PREMIUM UNICON MODE BOX" Model Kit(Japan Import)

I’m new to the gunpla community but I must say, like the days of my youth watching teenage mutant ninja turtles and power rangers and Beast Wars, Gundam has found a huge spot in my heart for nostalgia. And this build is so amazing. The Unicorn in any of its iterations is amazing but this small yet might Real Grade is perfect for beginners who wanna dabble in building and also want a beautiful product once it’s finished!

I wasn't exactly a fan of 1/144 scale models cuz of the size, but this exceeded all my expectations! Im very happy with this model....If you're thinking of skipping the stickers, Please DON'T. The decals really make this kit pop!! you won't regret it, I recommend this one for all Gunpla fans!!

I love these model kits. It was more challenging with the more detailed bits, but nevertheless it was a real joy. Unicorn Gundam has a rad design and cool transformation. Item came as described and fast shipping. Would highly recommend!

The item came in on time, but when it arrived, it wasn't in any box but instead was covered in bubble wrap and not protected at all. Under the bubble wrap was a partially crumpled box containing the Gundam pieces. The pieces were thankfully intact and had not received any damage, I just wish that this kit could have been protected better, especially since it travelled from Japan to South Carolina

Il prodotto è arrivato nei tempi previsti e il prodotto è conforme alla descrizione.Non sono un modellista esperto e il montaggio di questo kit è stata una sfida meravigliosa. Al fine di ottenere un risultato ottimale ho impiegato una ventina di ore di lavoro tra limare i componenti, pannellature, applicare sticker, risolvere qualche problema di montaggio (mi si sono rotti un paio di pezzi durante l'incastro).Unica critica è relativa all'imballo, a mio avviso non idoneo per la spedizione. Io ho ricevuto il kit in un semplicissimo sacchetto "Amazon" (come usano molto frequentemente in questo periodo) e la confezione è arrivata con alcune ammaccatura.Intendiamoci, non è nulla di grave (io sono parecchio pignolo), ma un imballo di cartone sarebbe molto più indicato.

The only thing I would say is if you’re new to RG kits you may want to build a more simple one or two first. As this can transform it has a lot more going on than your standard RG model.On the whole though it took me a couple days to put together and panel line etc and it was really enjoyable.

indispensable articulo en la coleccion RG. Complejo pero abordable, los delles son una pasada, sobre todo a nivel de articulaciones y transformacion en el Unicorn con apliques rojos, no hace falta ni agregarle color, solo panelearlo. Mi total aprovacion para Bandai con este modelo.

過去、このサイズではSHCM Pro版がユニコーンモード/デストロイモードの変身を実現していました。ただし、SHCM Proでは頭部、肩、膝、足首から先については別パーツと差し替えになっており、今回のRGでリベンジを果たした事になります。HCM Pro版は各部マーキングが印刷であったり、グロスインジェクション等の点で、RG版はパーツ合わせ目の処理や変形機構の点で優れていると言えるでしょう。設定通りに変身する訳ではないのですが、このサイズでよくやった、と歓心しています。変身機構の都合か、RG版の肩は大き目のバランスで、デストロイモード時に見栄えするように思います。価格面は比較するまでも無く、今から買うのであればRGでしょう。このサイズでコクピット外装が開閉するのも驚きです。さすがにコクピット内部は再現されていません。パイロットシートがあるあたりはフレームの可動部があるのです。設定通りに外装パーツの殆どが白系統であり、白化を殆ど気にせず組めるのは利点です。アンダーゲートも多く、ランナーから外す前にシール貼り(+トップコートで軽く目止め)まで済ませておくのも有りかも知れません。武装は、ビームマグナム、ハイパーバズーカが各1、ビームサーベル発振部(柄)が4つ付きます。ビーム刃については2本のみで、銃器のマガジンも予備は無いため、四刀流や劇中序盤のフル装備はできません。ビームマグナムのEパックの分割は出来ませんが、このスケールでは紛失の危険が増すだけなので妥当な処理でしょう。手首パーツはRGお馴染みの可動指のものが無く、握り手、平手、武器持ち手の3種類が左右分用意されています。左手で銃器のフォアグリップを掴むには、左武器持ち手の内側のダボを切り飛ばす追加工が要りそうです。頭部の変形で気になるブレードアンテナ(いわゆるツノ)は変形用のものと、開/閉固定で非変形のもの、都合3種類が付きます。交換を考慮した作りにはなっていますが、頻繁に交換するには不安が残ります。変形用のパーツにシールを貼ると、ユニコーンモード時にシールの厚みが目立つので、金色の面は塗装した方が良いと思います。RGでは定番の、微妙に色が変えてある外装パーツですが、今回は好みが分かれるところです。個人的には全てを単色にしてしまうよりは効果的な色使いであると思います。墨入れ以外にプチ塗装したい部分は、上述のブレードアンテナの金色面をはじめ、ホイルシールでは曲面に馴染まない部分、センサー部クリアパーツの裏を銀で塗る、ビームマグナムのマガジンを暗緑色に塗りなおす、あたりでしょうか。キット全体を通じて、このサイズに詰め込める限界を極めていると言えます。パチ組み派でも、組み立てる楽しさを感じることができると思います。説明書は足元から組み立てるような手順となっており、「MSを建造している」気分を味わえること請け合いです。連休のお供にもお勧めしたいです。最後に、初回限定版と通常版の差異は外箱のみのようです。プレ値で手を出すのは考え物です。
