These are a great value. Have only used one but worked perfectly.

I have several grandkids and kids that use my rods hard. They need the tip replaced so this set will last me the next 5 or 6 seasons until they get their fishing safety and skill down. I saved 2 $150,.00 fishing poles in less than 5 minutes and for under 25 cents a pole. Split the box up and put half in your tool box at home and the other have with your tackle and forget about it until you need it.

I'm bad about damaging rod tips so this kit is handy for repairs when on a trip. They are nice looking tips except the eyelet is a lot larger than the originals. They look strange but work just fine. I'm a bass and walleye fisherman, so fresh water. I've had the ceramic come out of original eyelets and replaced with one of these. There is a good selection of tip sizes. I use a Bic fireplace lighter to heat up the old tip while pulling on it with needle nose pliers. I choose a similar tip from the box, heat up the residue on the rod (careful not get it too hot) then slide the new one on and let it cool. Usually there's enough resin residue to hold the new one but a glue gun will also work.

Well made product but all the same stem size. I would have given 5 for but only good for smaller lightweight thinner fiberglass rods
