Excellent notebook for various uses, specially with a fountain pen!
This is an excellent notebook in so many ways.First of all, paper quality is outstanding. Rhodia is the de-facto standard for fountain pen users and this notebook definitely does not disappoint (as of 2020). All of my pens are able to glide smoothly across and provide a good writing experience, while not being 'glassy' either. The color of the paper is slightly on the warmer side, which I personally like a lot better than a cool shade. However, it does not go too far into beige territory either. I love seeing my red and blue inks on it (J. Herbin's Rouge Grenat and Kyanite Du Nepal). There is no bleed through at all and echo/ghosting is *extremely* light , so both sides of a page are usable with excellent legibility.I got the dotted version and I think it's done really well. The dots are light enough that they don't stand out when you are trying to think of stuff and write/sketch, but are immediately apparent when you need them for reference. They do not hurt legibility at all. The dots are spaced at 5mm apart and I find it a very practical reference.Features:A. Two page-marking ribbons. I find this quite useful when needed, though most of the time I just combine them to mark one page.B. Has a back pocket for storing loose leaf pages. Haven't used yet.C. Numbered pages! Makes it really easy to index your notes. I highly recommend indexing your notebooks if you don't already. Will elevate the relationship you have with your journals.D. Most of the notebook is the generic dotted pattern, just a few pages up front have special features that I think are well chosen and useful. Has 6 pages for Table of Contents and another 5-6 pages for date/calendar use. The calendar part is generic (not tied to a specific year). Clearly, doing calendar work is not the main purpose of this book, but if you need to take some minimal notes for certain dates/months, these pages will help. I personally don't use them, but keep them blank in case a use case turns out.Build quality: Excellent! The binding feels solid. It doesn't lay completely flat in the center, but I never feel like I'm losing any usable paper because of the binding. The cover has a slim and glossy leather-like finish. Soft, but not spongy. I like holding it. The elastic band that closes the notebook feels well anchored and though it will certainly loosen up a bit over time, its not flimsy. It's certainly not something I intend to abuse, but I'm expecting it to tolerate respectful use just fine.Great notebook!

A really fantastic little journal! I love it! The pages might not be thick enough for some though.
I love the Rhodia Goalbooks SO MUCH, I’m obsessed with them. I have them in three colors now, turquoise, raspberry, and saphirre blue. The pages and cover are so nice. The pages feel sort of creamy?? And I think the covers are fake vegan “leather,” but they feel like real leather. They hold up really well too. I’ve been using one daily for 4 months now, and the cover is still in great shape, except that the color has faded on the edges of the spine a bit.The dots make it easy to customize your page to look like whatever you want it to be. And it has two bookmarks, which is super handy. These listings have them pictured with a pen-holder sticking out of the side, and I’ve never received one that has a pen holder. I’m fine with that, I prefer mine without the pen holder, but if you’re looking for one, you’ll be disappointed. Some people seem to dislike that the pages are more of an off-white color than a pure white, so if that’s something that will bother you, bear it in mind. I like the color of the pages. I feel like I’m writing in an old-time journal. The size is perfect for me. It’s just barely small enough to stick in my purse, but big enough that I can use a page per day, if I want to, and feel like I’ve written a solid amount. I can make nice-sized monthly calendar pages and weekly spreads in the A5, without feeling restricted, and it’s still portable.Lastly, the pages are pretty thick. I use a Stabilo pt. 88 felt tip marker to write in mine, and I get some ghosting, but it’s not bad (IMO). If you’re using a fountain pen, you may find these pages aren’t quite thick enough for you though. I attached a pic of my ghosting. My little marker lays down a lot of ink, and doesn’t feather or bleed though.

Good for tracking tasks at work
Could also be useful for say a personal journal or say a sketch book if you don't mind rulled lines on the paper

Gold standard for Bullet Journal Enthusiasts
I absolutely love these notebooks. High quality paper with very little bleed through. It is even somewhat usable with fountain pens (though there is some bleed with those). I love that it has the built in index and monthly pages, and that the pages are pre-numbered. Sturdy pocket in the back, built in pen loop, and two ribbons. It's the total package. I've tried going back to less expensive options, but I always end up coming back to Rhodia. My wallet is less than pleased, but my stationary loving, and highly snobby soul couldn't be more delighted.

Incredible paper. Ideal for bujos- with one catch.
This book was made for bullet journaling. The back pocket, the two ribbon place markers, the numbered pages, the index, and two separate calendar sections- one in a list format that's perfect for a future log, and another in a larger, monthly format, ideal for things like birthdays & special events. The smoothness of this paper is incredible. There's no drag or skipping whatsoever. I have noticed a little bit of ghosting/bleed-through if I've concentrated a lot of ink in one area (Tombow dual brush and a Staedtler fineliner), but it's not severe- a tiny dot of each. I love that the dot grid is perfectly aligned- each page's dots are in exactly the same place, making it easy to create consistent layouts. If I have any complaints, it's that the paper is a cream color, and the dots are darker- not the white pages and faint violet dots of the regular dot pads. I'd really prefer to not have the visible dots in my finished layouts. If you prefer a completely customized bujo- making your own future log, monthly list, etc., and you find the darker dots problematic- then this is probably not the right book for you. If you like the ease of having the log already in place (and the pre-numbered pages), and the dots don't bother you, you won't find a better quality journal.

Excelente presente e vendedor nota 1000
