Great tool, easy to use
This is easily one of the best tools I've ever purchased. I've used it countless times and it has worked flawlessly each and every time. It cuts the jacket of this thick CAT6a riser cable perfectly and it has never nicked the internal pairs.

Worth the money, high quality, easy to use, and light in weight
These strippers are awesome!! I got the VDV110-261 and I use them for unison, dmx, and cat5 cables stripping. They work BEAUTIFULLY, very easy to use and small sturdy. I would compare the quality (this is random and weird comparison) to older plastic toys and playground plastic, like it feels sturdy and very well made. I just want to see how long they last. People have said around a couple hundred to a couple thousand of terminations before seeing dullness. Would buy again and probably will when these get dull over the next couple of years.

Must have if you do any cable work.
Great quality, small and fits in my go bag. Cuts great and perfect accuracy on the depth.

I knew I liked strippers.....
Spoiled myself a bit and bought this before doing a fair amount of re-cabling in my office. I had only used either the cheap-o strippers, scissors, or a utility knife prior to this. It looks a bit like a preschool toy (minus the cutting blades), but I've used it for a few different diameters of cat5 cable and it works beautifully. Just pop the cable in, spin, and you're ready to roll; no nicked conductors or starting over, seems accurate every time over the 100-150 cable ends I've done so far. I knew I'd probably regret not having bought this prior, and I definitely proved myself right! I tried the jacket splitter on the outside of the tool too, and that also works (although something I never see myself using).

Industrial strength wasteful packaging
Does the job but you got to figure out how to use it because there's no instructions and it as usual it comes in a industrial, wasteful plastic vault that made me ask Klein on Twitter"where's the Klein tool to get other Klein tools out of their packaging"

So much better than the cheap "all in one" tool I was using previously
This thing is great. I'm running ethernet cables throughout my house, and had been using an older tool to strip the cables. It was hard to use, and either didn't cut deep enough to remove the sheath, or cut too deep and nicked the inner wires. I just made a few cables using this one, and it was so fast and easy. It automatically cut just deep enough to remove the outer sheath every time. I thought it was a little expensive for something I won't get much use out of, but it's worth it for how much easier it's making this job.

Life regret: I should've brought this stripper home before I met my wife
A stripper like this seems so simple, so trivial, that you might wonder if you even need something like it at all. But if you terminate network cables any more often than "very rarely", you should get this tool. It turns what is otherwise an annoying and fiddly part of terminating cables into a quick, fun step. While you can probably use a crimp tool, pocket knife, or pliers to cut the jacket of a Cat5/Cat6 cable, there's a good chance that you'll either nick a wire, make a sloppy-looking cut, or end up cutting at a slight angle. With this tool, you'll never have to worry about that. To use, simply push the plunger in, insert the cable to the depth you need, spin it a couple times, then after removing the tool, the cable will be scored (but not completely cut through) allowing you to easily break off the jacket and remove it without cutting into the insulation on the wires. This tool is ergonomic, rugged, and good quality while being easy and efficient to use. It has survived many drops, and I can't see it breaking easily. I've never needed to use it, but you can also score the cable longitudinally if you need to open a big length of cable up for some reason, so it's a nice feature to have if you need it. $20 might seem like a lot of money to spend on something so trivial that you could technically get done with lots of other tools you already haveโbut terminate at least four cables, and you won't regret spending the cash one bit. About the review headline: I built a house with my wife, and we installed a *lot* of wiring in there. I terminated at least 45 runs of Cat6 myself without this tool, and in many instances, I nicked a wire or had to struggle to remove the jacket. This tool would have saved me so much time and frustration!

Best radial stripper I've used - get it now
Best radial stripper I've used - get it now. Works like a hot knife though butter, and has a great solid quality feel to it.
