So I'm a beginner pickleball player, i previously got a generic branded 4 paddle, and 4 ball pickleball set which runs about 90 dollars. I saw this reasonably priced 2 pack Head flash pickleball set and wondered whether it would be much of an improvement. It definitely was an improvement the head flash paddles feel lighter and the pickleball bounces off with much more ease. The grip feels much secure in my hands. The pickleballs included in the set are a magnitude better in quality when comparing the generic pickleballs to the head (penn branded) pickleballs in this set. I measured the weight For reference the head flash weighs 8.11 oz, and the pickleballs were .88oz. The included bag was very basic, it does the job but not a compelling reason to get this set. Overall even as a beginner i can tell that the head paddles and pickle balls are far superior to the generic ones, and i believe it will actually make a difference when i play. I only wish i had figured that out before getting the generic set.
