It’s easy to use and it’s slim profile makes it a perfect light for five gallon tanks

I love this product in how it looks and works! When I first set it up i thought it was complicated, but it wasn’t. The timer has different settings, I like the fact that the lights turn on softly then after a few minutes gets brighter just like sunrise and goes off in the same manner, mimicking sunrise and sunset. It also has settings for 24/7. Very slick not bulky, that’s a big plus. As you can see in the photo! And priced just right.

The light itself is great. Seems durable and bright. The picture shows it about an hour into the sunrise process. I purchased it for the 24/7 function. The other remote functions work easily but as with every light I’ve tried, scheduling is a pain and the manual is challenging to understand. The SeaOura YouTube account has a video explaining it and I took personal notes for adjusting as it will have to be reset every time the light loses power. Note that the current time will always flash once the 24/7 cycle is set. In the manual, the paragraph I marked is the instructions for setting the 24/7 cycle. Everything before that is an explanation for how the 24/7 cycle works.

Setting it is hard to understand with included instructions. Watched a video made it easier. But I love the light. Does what it is intended to do. Even better than I imagined. It fits my tank perfectly. I measured the tank and looked at the light measurements it fit like a glove. Only light that does 24/7 and comes in that size.

2 months old. Lights began to flicker and then wouldn't even shut off. I had to manually unpower the light at night to ensure the fish could rest. It's not worth $50+ for it. Oh and the customer service is absolutely unresponsive. I purchased a new light by hyggar and will see if I can get more time out of it. Disappointed for sure, but it is what it is.

A really great light. The 24-hour feature is so cool. It starts with a dim orange in the early morning and gradually changes to full white light. In the evening, it slowly changes to blue. Really cool and the fish seem happy with the added light. They are swimming around a lot more.

It works really good and I love the 24/7 mode

I got the 18-24” in version and I love the light. It’s bright enough for my 20 gallons tank and the length is perfect. I really love the 24/7 mode. The aquarium is so comfortable to look at, especially in the evening and at dawn. The fish are more active as well. If too much algue growth, I’ll add more plants to solve it, instead of reducing the light duration, so that I can keep this mode on. I didn’t expect that I would love this so much, and now, this mode becomes one of the criteria next time when I select a new light.

Smaller than I thought but getting the job done and helping my aquarium plants grow.
