A Companion to Islamic Art and Architecture, 2 Volume Set (Blackwell Companions to Art History)

The cover was beat up and damaged when I received the book. It looked as if someone had used it as a blotter under a piece of paper which was then written on. There seem to be impressions of writing or other destruction. If the book was not so expensive I might not have minded, but for this price I expected a new product. I was very disappointed.

no colour photographs in a book on Islam art ! the black and white have that usual murkiness in two very expensive volumes
