Fabulous gift for a young girl or boy
This was a very nice compass, came in a wonderful case. I bought one for my grandson and he LOVED it. My daughter-in-law said it made an impression at Christmas!! Wow!! He took it with him to 4H Camp this week too!! It is an extremely nice compass for the money too. I was amazed!! Well worth the purchase!!!

Pressed leather holder
Note worthy the money. Good for display piece only. Wil not hold NORTH. Needle is in constant motion. Compass and holder are cheaply made. Do not waste your money. Buy a military grade or good GPS

Lost
While this is nice looking, not real practical for land navigation or for plotting a course on a boat. Nice quality looks good on a shelf. Great gift. Took me three days to get out of those woods.

You get what you pay for!
Everything, about this compass is cheap. The box it comes in, the pouch for the compass, and even the face of the compass are all very poorly made. This looks like something you would pick up in a dollar store
