I bought these as an alternative to the stainless Petlibro fountains because like the Petlibro they are sanitary, have basically the same flow mechanism, and even use the same filters! But the Petlibro, though quiet, had a motor that vibrated the bowl so much that it caused a loud hum. These fountains solve that problem somewhat by using an arm to stabilize the motor, so the bowl doesn't vibrate--and the result is that these fountains are much quieter! You can still hear the slightest noise but my cats are not bothered by it the way they (and I) was by the Petlibro. Another improvement over the Petlibro is that the motor is attached to the lid, not the base, so that you can clean the whole bowl without having to detach the motor.

I actually love this water fountain for my cat. This is really great because she can drink out of it and it has a fountain so encourages her to interact with it and be more aware of it. I love this has a filter so that I can filter our water. I love making sure my cat has the best water possible. This is super easy to wash because I can just throw in the dish washer. My dogs also can use this and have access to this. I like that it isn’t loud and it’s really easy to keep where the previous water bowl was as well. Another fabulous feature is that you can have a small or a big fountain, I love having the option. Overall my animals are really drinking out of it and I’m really happy with the price of paid for this and hunkered it is to clean and interactive it is for them. I would highly recommend!

Bought this because we are a house with multiple dogs who seem to like rainwater outside over the water in their bowls. This fountain has been a game changer! They are staying well hydrated and it’s so easy to maintain!Super quiet and stainless steel design makes it fit right in with the other dog bowls. All three of my dogs love it! We have a large American bully, a medium cattle dog and a small mini dachshund, so it is perfect for my dogs of all sizes.

This fountain makes zero noise and was super simple to assemble -- insert filter cartridge, add water, replace top, plug in. Kitties seems to like it.

I wasnt sure the cats would like the fountain. So i put the reg water dish down with the fountain and they def like the fountain better. Pretty easy to assemble.

It holds nearly a gallon and it helps prevent the cat from sloshing the water everywhere.

The only bad thing is having to refill it so often! Our dogs and cats love the moving NOT STAGNANT water!! Highly recommend!
