Great if your file lock is broken
Our lock is broken but we needed to secure a filing cabinet. Purchased this, at first we had some problems. But once we figured it out it was easy to install and easy to use. It comes with the lock which was a bonus

Padlock Shackle size inadequate
The padlock that came with the locking bar is too small. Allowing the security bar too much movement when locked. You might need to go purchase a larger size padlock for security purposes. The locking bar is a substantial piece and offers a great deal of mechanical security. I am attempting to exchange the padlock that came with the security bar. The manufacturer has not responded at this writing.
