Mi è arrivato in condizioni favolose, veramente indistinguibile da un pezzo nuovo. L'orologio in sé è davvero molto molto bello; nonostante sia piuttosto grande, sta bene anche al mio polso da 17. I sensori funzionano a dovere. In particolare il termometro, probabilmente per la posizione felice, non risente della temperatura del polso. La bussola e l'altimetro una volta calibrati vanno perfettamente. L'ora da quando l'ho ricevuto, si è sincronizzata automaticamente ogni notte al primo colpo : pertanto l'orologio è sempre preciso. L'illuminazione notturna con tasto è più che sufficiente, mentre il materiale fosforescente di cui sono coperti indici e sfere rimane visibile solo per poco tempo ma non lo ritengo un difetto degno di nota, essendo comunque presente il led. Il cinturino è morbido e confortevole. La corona è a vite ed è lo strumento con cui si effettuano, facilmente a dire la verità, tutte le regolazioni / calibrazioni principali. La qualità percepita è alta, niente a che vedere con altri "plasticoni" anche dello stesso brand. Mein erstes Exemplar hatte noch klassischen Batteriebetrieb, die Uhr hielt über 20 Jahre (die Batterie etwa 3) und ging dann leider im Urlaub verloren. Schon immer wäre mir eine Analoguhr lieber gewesen. Diese hat nun neben den klassischen, sehr gut ablesbaren und nachtleuchtenden Zeigern auch noch eine kleine, aber ebenfalls gut lesbare Digitalanzeige für alle Zusatzfunktionen. Neben dem Feature Solarbetrieb kann diese Uhr auch die weltweiten Funksignale aus 6 verschiedenen Ländern empfangen, um die Uhrzeit über Nacht zu synchronisieren. Auf Malta war das im Gebäude nur auf dem Balkon möglich. Bei der Gelegenheit konnte ich aber feststellen, dass das Quartzuhrwerk nach 6 Tagen ohne Funksignal nur eine Sekunde abgewichen ist. Casio eben! Beleuchtung und der Sekundenanzeiger als Kompassnadel sind nette Gimmicks, die den Gebrauchswert der Uhr noch erhöhen.
