Perfect for PS4
Did the job. I use a PC monitor with my PS4 (no speakers). Got fed up with the headphone wire between my separate speaker and the PS4 controller. Connected this to the PS4 optical port, other end to the aux input on my speaker, power via the usb in the side of monitor. Perfect :)

Does what it says it will do.Connected straight from the box between tv with terrible sound and only optical output to analogue built in hi fi system throughout house.A good product speedily delivered.

Useful bit of kit
My son advised us to get this to link our tv with our bose player to enhance sound quality of tv. It certainly did the trick. We can now hear the tv much better, with a a all round quality sound.

Sound quality into the Bose was good although I had to turn up the volume lots on the unit

Funktioniert einwandfrei
Bei Anschluss von PC-Lautsprechern an den analogen Ausgang der Soundkarte war die Wiedergabe vonMusik gut, von Sprache aber katastrophal. Deshalb habe ich die Lautsprecher mittels des Glasfaser Audio-Konverters an den optischen Ausgang der Soundkarte angeschlossen. Seitdem war auch die Sprachwieder-gabe einwandfrei. Wie sich später zeigte, waren die Probleme mit der Sprachwiedregabe am analogen Anschluss auf eine falsche Einstellung an der Soundkarte zurückzuführen.
