I had great luck with this set. The cutter tool worked well and easily cuts old grips right off. Tape and solution worked well too. I would recommend using more solution than less, just to completely saturate the tape to stick properly. I’ve been using my regripped clubs regularly for several months and have had no problems. There are a lot of great “how to” videos out there for beginners.

This is a perfect startup kit to put on your own grips. It comes with everything you need and I have no complaints with the tape or solvent

Solvent (I suspect it's simply mineral oil) worked great. Pre-cut tape was easy to apply. Cutting tool is fantastic. Took about 3 minutes per club to cut the old grip off and install the new one. Maybe 4 min. Great kit if you need one.
