So prior to using this watch band I had been buying these other replacement bands that were pretty much the same as the one it comes with. The problem with those watch bands is that they're made out of rubber/plastic and after a lot of putting it on and removing it and putting it on again, it tends to break in the same weak-point every time (right where the end of the band is expected to go back under the band on the other side).Well this band solves that problem (so far anyway) by using a woven nylon elastic/fabric band. The part that holds the watch face in place is a little metal frame that attaches to the stretchy watch band, and you have a little rubber gasket to put around the edge of the watch face so that it doesn't make direct contact with the metal frame.The rubber gasket is actually kinda annoying since it fits so snugly, that you might find it trying to slip off as you put the watch face into the watch frame. I had to kinda edge it into place and poke at the rubber gasket wherever it tried to slip off to keep it between the metal and the watch face.This band is 100% more comfortable than the hard rubber/plastic watch bands that it comes with. I never liked the style where you fed the end of the watch band back under the band on the other side and this totally fixes that issue. It's pretty easy to get it to fit snugly without having to tighten it too far and after a while I completely forget I'm wearing it (which I couldn't do with the old band).Most of all though, I expect this band to last me a lot longer than the old rubber/plastic bands. As I said before, those always broke after 6-10 months of wear (mostly from the friction of the band where it tucked under itself). The only way I expect to break this band is if something snags the band and pulls/breaks the elastic. I rarely ran into cases where something might snag the old bands so I don't expect it'll be a problem with this one.I only wish I had bought one of these sooner.

This was my first replacement band purchased and loved it. They are very nice looking, comfortable, and stay adjusted.

Really like these bands. My only complaint is that they stretch out over time. Installing them is a snap & I think they look better than plastic. Certainly more comfortable & easier to use.

I like the ease of which it slides on and can be tightened without someone helping me. Not really sparkly as to be tacky looking either. Can be very dressy looking or everyday wear.

Got tired of the plastic replacement bands always breaking. Figured this nylon band would be more comfortable (it is) and more durable (yet to be determined). The claims that it is difficult to get the watch into place were noticed, but not an issue. Placed the gasket around the watch, and it popped right into place, snug and secure.

I've used two so far and both have broken on me, where the stitching has come out both times, on opposite sides. They're pretty, but pretty crappy. I also had to retighten them every time I took it off and put it back on. The first one lasted me a few months, this second one, about a month. I wouldn't buy again.

Best Fitbit band I've found, comfortable and won't fall off or get snagged.

Simple and effective bracelet. But do know that if you do any gardening or picking fruits or berries or vegetables, the loops on the bracelet will snag and unravel. Other than that, no complaints!
