ROBOT MODEThis is a great figure of Soundwave. It looks very good, his accessories are pretty neat, and he’s sturdy! He comes with lazerbeak which is really nice! His gun fits a little loosely in his hand, but I just close his fist a little tightly.Paint seems pretty strong, only having some corner paint being chipped, but that doesn’t bother me too much. Lazerbeak a paint seems really good tooHe’s really posable! But the first time you transform him, it feels like his limbs are just gonna snap off but after a while, it does become easier to pose. His hands are cool too! They are individually posable, but sometimes the pivots aren’t attached well and can fall out leading to the finger falling off. Make sure to push the pivot all the way into the finger/ before actually moving them!ALT MODE: CASSETTE PLAYERThis is a very nice alt-mode, it’s very square like a brick! The transformation may seem slightly difficult at first, but it gets easier after a couple times. He can fit 3 cassetticons in his chest but sometimes the springloaded back part in his chest can get stuck, but using something like a screwdriver can get it unstuck pretty easily.The back seems pretty clean, just a gap in the middle bottom looks a little weird but nobody’s really looking at the back anyways.It’s very fun to pretend your playing music with the cassette alt mode! Especially since lazerbeak transforms into cassette tape. It’s also enjoyable to press the release button ontop of soundwaves body to open up the cassette players front.Overall, this is a great figure, it has a great alt-mode, customer service was immaculate, and its a great addition to any transformer collection. 10/10. Would recommend.

It’s not without its defects in paint or plastic moldings. Because of the ratchets in the legs, it’s hard to get him standing until you work the ratchets a bit. Transformation is similar- just keep working it until it becomes easier to tab in.Unfortunately, some rivets in the finger joints were not fully inserted; without any unnecessary force, bending a finger caused it to pop off and the rivet got lost in the first few hours with the figure. I had to use a cutter to snip a nail and make a new rivet to reattach the finger. It doesn’t look great, but I guess it works. I then found 2 other rivets were not fully inserted on the other hand and used pliers to push them in. I was basically at risk of losing 3 fingers on this toy the first day- yikes. That lack of quality control is probably the biggest difference between this knockoff and the official version.He looks really good in general. When you pose him, you’ll find yourself staring at him because he looks so cool! I don’t know how good the legit MP Soundwave is, but my assumption is that some of the QC concerns might be better. That said, for price, this passes as a masterpiece and looks pretty awesome.I wouldn’t tell you not to buy it if you want it, but I would tell you not to expect any miracles at this price point. Then again, for nearly $100, I expect better quality in the paint and rivets, even if it’s a knockoff.

Feels great to handle. There are a couple things that you sort of need to break in initially, like the feature where you move the back of the cassette deck forward gets stuck sometimes, or the table that the legs peg into for the alt mode, which start out super stiff and feel like they’re going to break on your first transformation but after a couple they loosen up nicely. The figure looks great, a few noticeable stress marks from where the plastic came off the sprue, but it’s possible to hide those. Very difficult to get into a bad pose, especially with the perfect Laserbeak cassette

I got burned by another seller promising this figure who shipped from China but sent me the little 4 inch figure instead. After I got that sorted out, I was reluctant to relive the experience, but I gave this seller (with no real feedback) a shot.The figure showed up timely, in very nice packaging, with all expected accessories and it looks AWESOME. Very poseable. Even the individual fingers/thumbs are individually articulated.; you can more or less put Soundwave's trigger finger on the Megatron rifle trigger. Pretty cool detail. First Gen cassettes fit in this figure well. It's a little tricky to get Laserbeak to stay on Megatron's wrist or shoulder, but it does work with a little effort and care. This was not cheap, but I am very happy with the purchase.

Wow absolutely stunning

I’m pleased with what I ordered. I had the misfortune of buying the same thing from a opposite seller so I was skeptical to say the least but I do buy from this buyer a lot and usually get what I ordered so I went on ahead and placed my order. I got exactly what was described by the seller so needless to say I’ll be sticking to this seller from now on.

A major piece just just literally came off upon opening my package I still like it nonetheless but I will be getting another one in the future.
