Questionable
No instructions. Seeds molded in the water and smelled worse than a garbage dump! NOTHING grew.

Exactly as ordered with high germination
We planted these indoors, in a controlled environment, due to reading all the other reviews here. We wondered how much was user error. (Having wood sorrel or cotton seed or milkweed take over a bare is very common due to wind distribution of seeds.) So we planted them in a terrarium inside. We did it in the middle of winter, but we had a grow light on them. They sprouted beautifully, and soon took over the container. (We planted the seeds too close together in case of a low germination rate.) I recommend this company if you're looking for non-gmo, heirloom type, better-for-your-planet lawn plants.

Pay attention to your climate and when is the best growing season. Seeds can be tricky I think.
This was for my mom. She needed some ground cover in a yard that had too much patchy dirt.. I think she probably planted it when it was too hot. Mid July. It needed more protection from the heat to get going… I think she would’ve had more success planting it in the end of spring or early June. Because the seeds definitely needed a little babying and protection while starting to root. Some places in her yard it grew fairly well. But it was hard for me to review this properly as I think she planted it when it was too hot outside. The week she planted it it was near 100°. She said she kept it well watered. But 100° is pretty hot. So I’m not sure how consistent she was. The places it did grow it looked really pretty. I think it would just be better planting it in spring.

Very disappointing
Why did you pick this product vs others?: We picked this for ground cover on an earth ridge that is unable to be mowed. Very disappointing. Never grew. Didn't even germinate.

Way smaller than I thought!
I gave a 3 and I’ll change it after I get them to grow! It’s the size of a dime bag.. I think. Just an fyi! There very well could be over 1000 seeds because they’re the size of tiny glitter, but I was thinking it would cover a large area of my yard. I wanted to throw the seeds down like you do grass seed and watch miracles happen. It will literally cover maybe four square INCHES. I’ll come back and rate it when I get them to grow! I’m going to have to start them inside in some potting soil, otherwise they might just blow away in one gust of wind.

As expected… no problem here
If you understand how to keep your soil moist in order for the seeds to germinate you will have no problem with these seeds. In 2 weeks I have little sprouts as expected… more to come. I planted in 3 other places with the same results. I water for 10 minutes morning noon and night the first 2 weeks now that they’ve sprouted I’ll cut back to twice a day since my pots dry out quick with our 100 degree temps right now.
