THIS RAMP HAS COME IN VERY HANDY WHEN MY WIFE NEEDS TO LEAVE OUR HOUSE IN HER WHEEL CHAIR. IT IS NOT VERY HEAVY AND IS EASY TO PUT IN PLACE AT DOOR SADDLE AND SUBSEQUENTLY REMOVE WHEN WE LEAVE.

Works OK. It is only slightly wider than a wheelchair. Could be an inch or two wider. Also, it is a little flimsy when the person pushing the wheelchair steps onto the ramp. Ramp could warp over time as a result of the flimsiness. It is a nice lightweight folding ramp for occasional use.

Our ramp arrived on time today. It looks very nice. It states this ramp holds up to 600lbs. I am 145lbs when I walk up this ramp by myself and with my husband walker and with his wheelchair without him in it I feel it slop about the middle. I have not tested my husband walking with his walker or in his wheelchair yet. He is 250 lbs his wheelchair is about 25lbs. how safe is this ramp. Will I have to buy cement blocks to put under it for added support. I am wondering if I should exchange it for the 2ft ramp maybe being shorter it would be stronger and not sag in the middle?? Please advise. thank you.

More flimsy than I'd like, but does work.

The ramp isn't as sturdy as we had hoped. We put bricks under the midsection & also drilled 2 screws in at the top & into the porch brick to stabilize it. We also purchased trends to affix to the length of it to assure no slipping of wheelchair or people. It works but after a lot of adjustments. Also quite narrow for a wheelchair.
