OXO Good Grips Nylon Griddle Turner

Totally love this spatula. I understand the benefit of silicone and have many silicone spatulas, but they are not rigid enough to be a real turner. I have pans that I choose to not use metal spatulas and that means that i'm left with some 20 year old spatulas because I cannot find adequate replacements for them. This one is better than my trusty old non-slotted spatulas. The handle is much shorter, but that doesn't really bother me. The nylon that is used in these is VERY hard and stiff and it's perfect for what I use these types of tools for (pressing and turning burgers, cutting lasagne and serving it... etc.). I bought two of them and love them already enough to retire all of my old ones.

These lasagna turners are great, but I don't really use it for lasagna. I tend to use it as an all-purpose spatula and turner. It is very sturdy and solid, not flexible like most spatulas. This means that it can be used more like those metal turners cooks use on flatop griddles, but it is nylon so it won't damage your non-stick coated cookware. It works great for stirring thicker foods, or even chopping up things like ground meat in a frying pan. It's also easy to clean and seems to hold up to the heat well. Overall a very versatile kitchen utensil that can do the job of several others.

This is a great turner/spatula. Very well constructed and easy to grasp. I like the handle being on the shorter side because you have better control. This is so sturdy that it’ll last a lifetime! Of course it’s OXO so that explains everything. I find the majority of everything they make to be high quality. You can always trust that brand. If you’re buying OXO you’re buying the best in my opinion. That being said I would highly recommend buying this. I own many different kitchen tools and gadgets by them and like them all. Don’t waste your money on other brands. Also I’m petite and have very small hands. The handle on this is big but I can still grasp it fine.

The OXO Good Grips Nylon Griddle Turner is a great kitchen tool. The size is great for serving lasagna and large portions. It's easy to clean and heat resistant and doesn't scratch my cookware.

This is great for roasting vegetables , and when’re a smaller size turner is needed. It is sturdy and comfortable to use.

It's a good solid, quality lifter. But absolutely no flex in it what so ever. That's why I only gave it 4 stars. Otherwise it lives up to the OXO reputation.

Very sturdy, our "go to" utensil for lasagna, french fries, etc., also works well with non stick cookware. Cleans up easily

It does not flex, which i really appreciate. And the edge is sharp (for a spatula) and cuts through lasagna or whatever with ease. When I held it in my hand it was larger and more substantial than I expected, but turns out, it's the perfect size. Been using it almost nonstop since it arrived. I love this item and all the oxo good grips utensils from this set (the ones having same handles). Of course do not cook with this, use the regular shaped spatulas instead.
