LDR Industries 310 U-114 Union, 1-1/4-Inch, Black

just what I needed to complete a home sand blaster project. Ordered, it showed up on the front porch, very simple.

Casting had a void that went into the threads. Had to return.

I purchased 1/2" black malleable elbows from another seller here on Amazon that were improperly machined, causing the black pipe to bottom out before the threads sealed properly. Doing a pressure test, my propane black pipe distribution for my cabin wouldn't hold pressure.Discovering the problem was improperly machined elbows, I ordered these "LDR 312 E90-12 90 Degree Elbow, 1/2-Inch" and completely disassembled and reassembled my propane piping system. I was very pleased after all the effort to find that none of these elbows leaked. My system holds pressure as it should.Whether you're making furniture or building a DIY natural gas or propane black pipe system, these elbows are ideal for either. They are heavy duty and properly machined with a good finish and quality control. I highly recommend them.

The coupling is well made and just what I needed for my project. It's reasonably priced and arrived on schedule. By the way, I searched hundreds of similar items on Home Depot's website and could not find this part. I think I'll look first to Amazon from now on.

Worked great . Some measuring so elbos and rods are attached with a little room to come apart when changing curtains out.

As many other reviewers said, these flanges are not all going to be flat. Half of the ones I ordered were warped and that made it difficult for my application as part of a homemade tv stand. Thankfully, the stand turned out fine. The reason I gave them three stars is because you simply cannot beat the price. These flanges are more than double this price as Lowes and Home Depot which is absurd. It should be noted that the flanges at the big box stores were not all straight either. A tip when screwing the bars into the flanges is to use some machine oil or other greasy substance. It makes the process a lot quicker and is easier on hands.
