THE OLYMPIC POLE VAULTER Vintage Collectible Lithograph by LeRoy Neiman Made for 1984 Los Angeles XXIII Olympics Preserved for Over 30 Years! Leroy Neiman (1921-2012) was the official artist of five Olympiads in addition to being one of the most collected artists of the 20th century. Neiman originally produced this edition of museum quality lithographs to be released concurrent with the 1984 Los Angeles Summer Olympic Games. Two months prior to the commencement of the 1984 LA Olympics during the Cold War era, the USSR withdrew from the competition. Never released, these prints have been kept and preserved for over 30 years and unavailable for sale. Until now. These high quality lithographs are being released to commemorate the life of a wonderful artist and person, LeRoy Neiman and to celebrate the upcoming 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
