Yes the Pelikan ink cartridges work. They are a Universal cartridge.

Which cartridge does it use ?

I have been using the Pelikan Edelstein ink cartridges for this pen since I like their unusual ink colors. While I find the Twist pen attractive to look at, I find it less comfortable than my other Pelikans which I love.
