Excellent product. Have used it many times, and the thick walls of the unit help in cooking the food as compared to very thin pots. I plan to buy another one. Easy to clean, no scratches since I use teflon utensils.

This is my second purchase of this caphalon nonstick pot. They last a very long time. I love how heavy duty it is, it heats the food evenly and stays hot. It’s durable, it’s great for soups, large saucy things, like salsa, taco meat, chili, pasta, etc. My only ding on the review, is that you have to use a hot pad on the handles. My earlier Cephalon pot had rubber handles that were safe to touch. This pot gets hot on the handles because they are metal. Not a big deal, the benefit is that you can place the whole pot in the oven. For future design recommendations, though, I’d prefer handles that I can grab without having to use a hot pad. Every time you stir, I would like to not have to get a hot pad.

Caliph on truly never disappoints. This is a great size for soups or stews for a large family. The finish is excellent and the pour spout also allows you to drain pasta directly from the pot. Worth every penny to upgrade to Calaphon.

I use 5-quart Dutch oven for much of my cooking. It is good for making soups and roasts and surprisingly it cleans very easy.

This dutch oven pot is quite versatile, food cooks evenly, is easy to clean and can serve for multiple recipes! It's sturdy yet not heavy.I'm very pleased with this purchase!
