Only good for super super soft woods. The tip broke off on a piece of dried and stabilized cherry using only hand strength. I tried to glue it back on and its super crooked and would not go back in straight. I would suggest adding E6000 and or super glue gel to where the bit meets the handle and wait 48 to 72 hours before use and still I dont know if that will work. I bought a new set. You get what you pay for.

Probably would be fine for balsa wood, but I had nothing but trouble using these on southern yellow pine. Edges & tips chipped/broke off consistently & easily. I thought I could get a few uses out of the set, but if you care about the quality of the tools & your project, spend a few more dollars on a better set.
