Tank Girl: Color Classics Trilogy (1988-1995) Slipcase Set (Graphic Novel)

My daughter wanted this set sooo bad and worked hard to earn it. The set is awesome, and the box and book covers are beautiful. It's a great set for collectors.

The colors give a new life to this cult classic

It arrived in very good quality, no imperfections. However, it had a strange, sort of sour smell. I tried to find what the cause might be on Google, maybe the type of glue used, but I couldn't really find anything that would explain why a brand-new book would smell sour.
