These WORK! Life-changing!
Not often that I can say a piece of clothing has changed my life. Being a pretty big dude, when I get hot I tend to get drenched. As I often wear long sleeve dress shirts for work, this has always been somewhat embarrassing. These undershirts work. They really keep the moisture off of me and off my shirts. They somehow dissipate it off into the air. I had a few that arrived in my order with a tiny hole near the neckline. Not a big deal but I did let the seller know in case it was a batch defect. They immediately sent me replacements. Excellent product and customer service! Be sure to wash these on ‘delicate’ and do not put in dryer. Hang up and let them air dry.

Perfect at what it's designed for
Some sizing inconsistency BUT they work so well at what they are primarily designed for that I don't even care. 5 stars. I own 5 of them and wear them almost every single day with no sweat stains whatsoever anymore.

Works as advertised, but creates a new problem...
I want to start by saying, you absolutely get what you pay for with this product. It really does capture all the sweat and will keep whatever shirt(s) you're wearing over top it of dry. However, after a few months of wearing it once or twice a week, a new problem arose. The washing instructions say to be sure that it's inside out and to use warm water, which I always follow (this shirt catches every drop of sweat, so trust me, it's gross by the time you take it off... you wouldn't want to clean it any other way). The problem I mentioned earlier is that once you've worn it enough times, even if you've been following the proper cleaning instructions, after about four hours of wearing the shirt it'll start to smell like you have two smelly wet gym socks tucked up under your arm pits. I've even tried washing them twice before wearing them again, but it doesn't help. So it creates this issue of "do I want to have no pit stains, but smell like I just came out of a locker room... or do I opt for pit stains but at least smell better?" Mind you, I still wear deodorant, but the smell over powers it. I'm not sure if these shirts have a 'shelf life' or something where after a certain number of uses you're just going to have to endure your own odor, but I just wanted people to be aware of this. Again, the shirt does exactly what it says it will and it does it well, but after enough use, you may want to consider wearing a newer one because like people say "if your body odor is strong enough that YOU can smell it, than other people can definitely smell it too".

Way, way, way too big
This is on of the worst fitting t-shirts I've ever purchased. I usually wear a medium, and after seeing the picture and reading the reviews, I thought that it would be a little big so I ordered a small. The small is *extremely* large. After washing it, I thought it would shrink and fit better, but it did the opposite and stretched out more. I expected the padded area to be snug up against my underarms, but they sag by at least 2 inches, making it nearly useless as the sweat just drips down my sides and doesn't get absorbed by the padding. My wife generally doesn't say anything about my clothes and every time I have put on this t-shirt, she says, "I hate the way that looks on you". I had high hopes and I think the padding could work well, but with such a horrible fit, it's too hard to tell. I wanted the "slim fit" but they didn't offer it with the deeper V. I'll probably give it one more shot with the slim fit regular V and see how it goes.

If you want a REAL & THOUGHT-OUT review then read on......
If you want a REAL & THOUGHT-OUT review that isn't just thrown at you by a bitter person read on..... If you actually work at a fast physical pace and don't want to ever have to deal with underarm sweat, even having hyperhidrosis or not, this is the best thing you can buy. If there is anything anyone dislikes about how well this undershirt works, I honestly mean no offense, but they need to Seek Medical Attention Immediately for any number of possible medical issues. What I mean by that is if this doesn't completely hide your exterior sweat issues then I can vouch for the fact that there are not other options besides seeing a doctor. I have hyperhidrosis (already seen a doctor for it) and I ruined my entire wardrobe out of denial and stupidity, plus having to try other cheaper attempts at a medical solution before my insurance will cover Botox. I sweat so severely that I've tried absorbing pads meant for under the armpit, I've tried other solutions like panty liners and I've tried other under shirts with similar padding. In the past I've picked shirts meant to show as little sweat as possible so when I'm at work I don't look disgusting because I have so much sweat under my arms. I can honestly tell you after trying this product on my busiest hottest most active days... It. Didn't. Show. Anything. Now, if I was being pessimistic I would consider saying something like 'it makes you sweat more because it's so thick and makes you hotter'. HOWEVER, all undershirts will have that effect and 'WHO CARES?' because no one will SEE the sweat and it WICKS it right up under your armpits. As a matter of fact at the end of my sweatiest day this month my armpits felt drier than the rest of my torso and back because of the absorbent material under the arms. Because of this shirt I have finally felt for the first time in a year-and-a-half that I am not wasting my money rebuilding my whole stock of completely ruined shirts. I actually spent hundreds of dollars on new dress shirts because I finally feel like I won't ruin them in 2 wears anymore. Sizing was spot-on for standard t-shirt fitting. However, keep in mind that you may want your undershirt to be a size smaller so it is not as easily seen underneath another shirt or cause extra wrinkles under a dress shirt. Not a bash on the product though. Lastly, as far as it holding up in the washer I haven't had a single problem with it and I have washed my first two shirts five times with a little bit of detergent, vinegar water, and dish soap each time. Now, it's just an opinion, but I think that anyone who complains about it getting holes after one wash or not holding up in the washing machine should consider actually using that setting labeled 'gentle' or consider getting a new washing machine. Bottom line is it holds up just as well as any shirt I have, and better than ones that cost twice as much. "This is what all undershirts should be like."

No more hiding my saturated arm pits under a black jacket!
I have never written an Amazon review before, but this Thompson Tee was so incredible, I feel compelled to do so!! I heard of this product from a recent article in Buzzfeed for people that perspire more than others. It could be 45 degrees outside, and I will be sweating. I'm just one of those guys, I'm always running hot temperature wise, and my wife calls me a "furnace." When I am at work (Furniture Sales) I am constantly running around the sales floor, lifting and moving heavy objects, working with the public, etc. By 11:00am, my arm pits are already saturated! I wear a black sports coat all day in order to hide my perspiration stains. When I read about Thompson Tee's, I was skeptical. And the price is $30, not exactly cheap! But I decided to try it. At first, upon opening the package, I thought the overall material was too light weight, and the V-neck was cut too low! But I later realized after putting it on, that this was perfect for not feeling a "heavy" under shirt, and the with the lower V cut, all of my button up oxford shirts do not show that I am wearing an under shirt! That is very well thought out, and my wife loves not having to see my undershirt poking out anymore!! So, how does it hold up with sweat? All I can say is HOLY MOLY!! You can feel the sweat pads soaking up everything, and never once bleeding sweat stains through the shirt!! I was completely shocked that for the first time in decades, I was not having to hide my sweat stained shirt under a sports coat!! Talk about re-newed confidence!! I could not believe that not once during my 10 hour shift did I EVER show any perspiration on my oxford shirt! And it has continued to work every time after washing as well!! I am ordering several more of these, because at $30 per investment, they are also saving my expensive sports coats and suits from constant dry cleaning bills, and costly replacement!! I HIGHLY recommend Thompson Tee if you excessively perspire under the arms!

Good for Sweaty Bettys, too
I'm a lady, but a fat lady. So: A) the ladies' sizing in these shirts felt like they wouldn't accommodate my ample bosom and backfat - 50" around at my widest. B) The ladies' shirt sleeves were all so short as to seem non-functional in terms of blocking sweat. So, I decided to go with these deep V-neck dudely sized ones. I usually wear an XL in dude/unisex tees, but after hemming and hawing and reading reviews, I went with size L in this one. For me, sizing down was the right move. The shirt fits me snugly in a way that works very well as an undershirt. If I'd gone with my regular size, I think the shirt would have fit too baggy to work well as an underlayer. So - I agree with the reviews that recommend sizing down for that purpose. Also, I agree that the armpit pads get sorta moist feeling throughout the day, lol. But you know what? I don't care!!! If my armpits feel moist in this shirt, I know it's working! And it does work, amazingly well - no matter how much my pits perspire, my blouses, sweaters, and longsleeves stay pristine and pitstain-free. I have laundered this shirt a few times, and it comes out looking great & working the same each time, no shrinkage or loss of function. These are great, and I highly recommend them for people of all genders. They give me such peace of mind - I don't have to think about the state of my pits anymore! You really can't put a price tag on calm - for me, these are totally worth the money and I'm getting more!
