My kid has sensory issues and has refused to wear jeans since she was 3. I cannot tell you how excited I was that she would even give these a try! But she loves them, and is herself delighted that she can finally wear jeans just like all of her friends. Special thanks to the reviewer who mentioned that these are ASD/Sensory friendly - I let her read your review, and I believe that helped her decide to try them on when they arrived! she tried them on, and left them on. She's wearing a pair to school today. This was a WIN. If you have a child with sensory issues who will not wear jeans, give these a try.

Having an ASD/high sensory needs child can make it challenging to accommodate when it comes to clothing, more specifically pants, but these fit my 5’0”, 75lbs, 10 year old daughter better than expected. She has to order a size 12 for the length, as she is so tall, but also very thin, so I thought these pants would be like so many other pull on, elastic waist band “jeggings” (large in the waist/groin leaving gaps) but thankfully the thick, wide, elastic waistband holds its elasticity without being too tight or too baggy. The first thing my daughter said upon trying them on for the first time, “these are so comfortable and soft, I could wear them to sleep in”Very happy with this purchase. My daughter gets her comfort needs met, while also looking more “put together” than her go-to black leggings.

These fit my daughter perfectly. She’s tall and husky so finding pants that fit and stay up is a challenge. These give her the comfort of legging and they fit and look great. I will be buying more!
