Milder flavor matches some food groups
It's the first time I've tried Season's sardines and I was happily impressed. It has a milder taste then some others and is not as salty as many. Although I do.like the fuller flavor in other brands, this one does go better with some charcuterie settings.

Quality Sardines
I was very impressed with the quality of these really close to the quality I find with NURI, and if you are heating these up on the oven the sunflower seed oil really pops up

hard to open, but product is great
my dogs get a sardine mashed up in their canned food every morning and they love these little fish! I'm grateful that these are no salt added and packed in water. That is a difficult thing to find in a grocery store so I buy these in bulk through Amazon. My only complaint is that the tins are sometimes difficult to open. The tabs break off, or the top gets stuck halfway open. I've resorted to using a manual can opener. The odd-shaped tin makes it a little awkward, but it's better than struggling with that tab pull top.

They are not “12 Packs” as advertised but they’re great
Fabulous! But why listed as “12 pack?” There’s not 12 cans

"Season" Sardines in extra virgin olive oil. Made in Morocco.
Very good sardines in extra virgin olive oil. Excellent taste with skin and bones. Buy this product for many years.

Please be careful….
I bought three dozen of these because I read online, whether true or not I don’t know, that this brand tested lower in arsenic than others. I can understand that with less salt some folks find them bland but that doesn’t bother me. I don’t think I have ever opened a can with such a rusty red packing liquid; but I can drain and look past that with blind faith that it is safe. But the can is packed with scales both large and small. I mean enough to clog the kitchen sink strainer with them while trying to wash off. There really isn’t any reason for them to process so negligently. I have bought a “French” brand from Amazon with scales, but not as many, that were cheaper and less than a quarter of sodium( 41mg vs 170mg ). And a local supermarket find also product of Morocco that is also lower in salt ( 90mg vs 170mg ). Also in same price point as these and also some scales found but again not as many as these. Obviously there are no returns and I am out a substantial amount of money. I really wanted to like these and was persuaded by some “glowing” reviews on these… enough to try even though I read there might be some scales. Never could I have imagined that there would be this many allowed to be canned short of someone performing a bad prank. Sadly, while the fish are large and pretty firm trying to rinse, even gently washes the loosely attached skin right off with them loosing some of the best and most nutritious parts. Please make up your own mind but be advised and if you do decide to take a chance, buy a small amount that you won’t regret spending on.

Less Salt
Descent taste, not salty at all, great quality, more expensive but worth the price with far less salt. I add mustard, good
