Height adjustment: The adjustable cushions make it easy for any sitting position and computer angle. Mouse pad: Works nicely for a small USB mouse. Has been game friendly for non-action gameplay games. Have not tested on more intense gameplay, but if you needed fast panning with the mouse, it may not work the best. Fit: Plenty fits my larger size SPECTRE HP laptop, plenty of room with a decent size mouse pad too. Works well: The surface is not so smooth that it prevents my laptop from sliding around so I never have a fear of it sliding off when adjusting sitting positions. The extra stopper for the forward tilt is also a bonus and does what it is meant to do. Its hard surface allows my laptop to keep itself cooled off even with long hours of use. The smooth mousepad surface has presented no issues and the wrist support keeps your hand comfortable. Looks: The white marble top I think is sleek and looks nice even when sitting not used. It is easy to keep clean. Weight: It is actually a fairly light product even with its nice quality. It is easy for me to take from room to room.

I ordered this item to allow me to use my wireless keyboard and mouse when my laptop is connected to the projector. This of course would permit me to recline in my chair or other seating location without the need to have my laptop in front of me. The construction of the desk is great and looks amazing. A nice mouse pad with wrist rest and a slot to hold your cellphone. The area to the left side is for your laptop and there is a small raised edge at the bottom to keep your laptop from falling off. The underneath is padded, with one of the sections able to fold out and magnetically connect to another to create an angled surface. When seated upright in a chair, this inclined surface only brings the surface to approximately level on your lap. As I've not yet used my laptop on it, the following is just a commentary based on keyboard and mouse use with it. The mouse pad portion is sized appropriately and comfortable to use. The keyboard (laptop side) could be a bit larger on the width side, as aligning correctly with the keyboard centered in front of you makes the desk lopsided and using the mouse unbalances it. This is not the fault of the product, but an observation and possible suggestion for future updates to the product. If I had the weight of the laptop on it, the majority of the weight would then be centered over my lap and not cause an unbalance. If you use the product as intended, it is a 5 star item.

Fantastic value, wonderfully large. It looks great and even has a mouse spot. It is also easy to use, obviously, it is self-explanatory. It is very stable and comfortable as well. There are only 2 reasons it is a 4 star: 1) The tag tickles my leg too much. (I could remove it but I've never removed a tag in my life and it feels weird to me...) 2) It is a bit heavy - which is also because it can fit a 17.3inch laptop - but also it is high quality which can be a reason why. I still recommend it for sure! 9/10

Very nice lap desk, wood finish is very clean and feels solid, but doesn't weigh too much either. Doesn't make my laptop slide when I tip it to the side a bit but it doesn't take too much resistance either. If you have a 15in laptop, especially a gaming laptop or a chunky laptop in general around that size, do not get the standard size desk, it will feel very cramped. The extra breathing room helps a ton, especially if you wanted to add a laptop cooler pad in the future (you're going to need it if your laptop pulls a lot of power). It can also be used as a tinkering desk as it's a big enough surface to work on small electronics or crafts. The cushion provides decent padding, but you'll feel the heat soak. Hopefully the cushion lasts for long term use.

It took me awhile to find one that looked like it would work with my 17” laptop and mouse, but this fit the bill perfectly. Most lap desks are for the smaller laptops. The different angles of the pads on the bottom to adjust the angle of the desktop work well. The pads are comfortable on your thighs when using it in a chair or in bed.

I was fairly cautious before buying a lap desk. I am a gamer, and I use a wireless Razor keyboard for the Xbox-X (and sometimes I haul my PC over to the TV). I was concerned about size. This keyboard is about 15 to 15.5 inches across and it’s comfortable to use. I’m emphasizing this because a lot of the photos show devices that are already small to start with. I ‘could/can’ just set the keyboard on my lap, but this is not only more comfortable, it’s steady. Being raised off my lap and at a slight slant makes a big difference too. That keyboard has a retractable mouse pad, but compared to the one built into the lap desk, the retractable one is awkward junk. My wireless mouse works great with the mouse pad surface (it’s good quality pad as these things go). The desk is very, very sturdy, and the surface is hard and smooth enough to write on. It might feel a little heavy to some (not me), but I don’t think anyone would have difficulty using it. It’s “weighty.” The cushions underneath are comfortable. I recommend it.

This LAPGEAR Extra Large Adjustable Lap Desk is lightweight, cushiony, and a nice lap desktop when needed. It rests nicely on a table or on one's lap. Add a supportive nonslip placemat for your laptop and enjoy.

After only using for a couple weeks, I have to say I quite like this product. I’ve never used a lap desk before, and it’s surprisingly light and comfortable after hours of working. The only critique I have of this design is that the mouse pad area is not flush with the desk surface, making it unusable as a workspace area or writing notes. As well, the mouse pad itself is too small really to function with regular sized mouse. I wish it could be removed as an option.

It's a generous size, and not too heavy on the lap. The cushions are comfortable, and it reduces the level of heat on the lap.
