I bought this product for my chocolate Havanese. The smell of this product is delicious. If you can imagine the most exotic island with the most exotic fruits, that is close to the smell. I dilute my shampoo in a  12-oz. Squeeze Bottles 3 pk. - Clear  with water. I suggest you do this as well. Pouring concentrated shampoo on your dogs skin is never recommended. It lathers well and cleans my boy. After using the shampoo i use the  Isle of Dogs Coature No. 50 Light Management Dog Conditioner for Dry Hair, 1 liter . I also dilute the conditioner as it is extremely thick. Very viscous. The conditioner smells just as good as the shampoo however it is a completely different smell. Sort of like a mature woman perfume. Instead of buying the accompanying  Isle of Dogs Coature No. 62 Evening Primrose Oil Dog Conditioning Mist for dry or Sensitive Skin, 8.4 oz  I bought  HydroSurge Pro Nourish Pet Coat Detangling & Conditioning Spray 16 oz. . Honestly I refuse to pay $27 for 8.4oz of spray when I can get 16oz for a third from a different product. The Hydrosurge works well. It does in fact detangle and it smells great. Some of you may be wondering what my dog smells like after three different items with three different scents. He actually smells great. At the end of his grooming all the smells end up being subtle and the dominant of the three is the conditioner.Shipping: Amazon Prime doesn't usually let me down. However, the shampoo has a bit of a leaking transit probably about 5% of the shampoo leaked out. Now this was disappointing but it want enough to make me send the shampoo back. Thankfully Amazon sent the Conditioner with the top on and not the pump handle put on already. no leaks from the conditioner. This is great product.

Love love love this product for my dog .. so tempting to use on my own hair .. it smells so good ! Even my dog loves his wash more ! It is value for the quality you get out of this product ..

WHY do you NOT send a PUMP with it? That is my only beef. Great product don't cheap out with not sending a pump!

I LOVE this conditioner! It helps my husky’s first to last a week longer before a bath. It helps her coat to look shiny and healthy while keeping a clean, fragrant smell. Highly recommend!

I have a Havanese and a Coton de Tulear - both mat easy and require a lot of grooming. This conditioner made their hair very soft, fluffy, and easier to comb, but did not prevent mats like I was hoping (I am not sure if there is a product that will with these two breeds!). This conditioner is very nice if you need a conditioner that won't weigh down the hair and if you prefer a light scent. I have used other IOD conditioners that I liked better - I like my dogs to smell REALLY good so I will buy something with more scent next time. Bottom line - I am happy with the performance of this conditioner.

This is the best shampoo I've ever had for my long haired dachshund. It makes her shine and silky smooth. I also use the conditioner afterwards. Compliments everyday on her coat.

When we got our Golden Retriever from the Breeder- she suggested we use this conditioner and the Primrose Oil Shampoo. They are magic. Anyone who pets our dog always comments on how soft and luxurious her coat is. While the price may be more than optimal for dog conditioner- it is well worth it! We go through a liter every 6 months and use the conditioner about once every two weeks or so. Leave on for about 5 minutes to ensure a super soft finish! Worth the extra time and effort, plus if you are washing your own dog- think of the money you'll be saving instead of taking your pet to the groomer!!

used it on my pom shih tzu and came out silky smooth and he's still fluffy. scent is good. no complaints.
