they seemed high quality but wont heat to 250 after a few months use! replaced 2 this year...

Make sure to test the wattage of these I received 2 35W units2 32W units1 15W unitWattage= Votage x Voltage / ResistanceTest the resistance with a multimeter and plug in 12V and the resistance to the above equation. I tested my stock maker select V2 heater that's marketed at 40W and it also fell at about 34W so I'm assuming a little bit of variation is normal and fine.The 15W cartridge is unacceptable though.

Works, slightly uneven surfaces but that can be corrected

These are not 40 watt. Don’t buy these, they will put your printer into thermal runaway. The picture has the maximum temperature I was able to get with a part cooling fan. Will try to get refund. Get the official heater cartridges instead of the cheap knockoffs.

Of the 5 I received, power draw at 12V was 30W (2X), 33.6 (2X), and 35W. Still works for my application, but they appear to suffer from quality control and/or inaccurate advertising.

The wires came out of the element after a slight tug. Thankfully was a 5 pack. Be careful with them.

One was slightly larger than the others and refused to fit into my E3D V6 heater block. Heats up fine otherwise.

The title says CR-X which I though it will be ok but not CR-X is 24V and not 12V. Fake Advertisement !
