We bought the first of these islands in white with a light wood top. That one found a home in our laundry room. My laundry basket fits perfectly on the top shelf and there is space for other laundry-associated products on the bottom shelf. Mesh bags go in the drawer. The height is ideal for folding and stacking clothes. Next, after a search for a storage unit/TV console went on and on, I considered the "Island" again. In black with the walnut top, it looks great in our bedroom with space for games and DVDs on the shelves. This is a very versatile item; well-made, easy to assemble, no damage at all. We are very satisfied and the price is great, too.

My apartment kitchen really lacks counter space so I always want some sort of a island as a prepping area. But I didn't want to buy a regular island as I don't have the space. This is the ultimate perfect solution. I can open it when cooking and fold it up once done. The wood quality is great; all the folding mechanism works well too. But I wish there's an easier way to have it be able to stand if you choose to have the wheels. Once folded up, it is top heavy and is easy to tip over. It has fallen a few times just having it lean against the wall.

Ordered 2 of these for our office for a microwave and some storage. They are fairly well made and easy to put together. They are a bit wobbly so be careful not to put too much on them.

This cart was very easy to assemble, it took less than 10 minutes, once I’d unpacked everything. We used it during the holidays as a temporary countertop and storage for the pots and pans that are normally stored in the oven. The top was nice enough to serve drinks and appetizers from. The lower shelves provided ample storage for pots and pans. It is stable and solid for our use. It folds down for storage very easily.

Unit arrived all broken up. Seems like it was a return product that has been mangled up in the various shipments and handling - I have a woodshop so with lots of glue, new parts and clamps and patients input it together.But even it it was not mangled - be aware this thing is very very wobbly side to side. The sides stay closed via 2 marginal metal tabs on the bottom and if you’re not careful the sides can swing out and the entire unit will collapseSo use it in a very stationary format and don’t expect much of it
