It helps with my snoring and my throat doesn't relax and close. I wish it had a battery level indicator. If I wear the straps around my ears they get sore where the adjustment beads are so I started bringing the straps to the top of my head and linking the beads together. My husband says I hardly snore at all now. It is like a shock collar in a way but I set it on two and all is well. Works for me.

Overall we are pretty happy with this product. It is easy to use and functions well. The quality is good for the price and has held up well to our use. Overall i would recommend this unit.

Interesting concept for an anti-snoring device but not quite there in terms of fit and finish. The behind the ear straps needs a redesign as it was difficult with my 'normal' sized noggin to get a proper fitting mount as it was either too loose or too tight to be of comfort overnight. After a week of testing there was not a single instance where I woke up the next morning to have the device still attached to the chin.

My husband snores like crazy and I am the lightest sleeper. It makes it really hard for us to fall asleep at the same time. He can fall asleep in about 10 seconds and it takes me more like 30 minutes. For this reason I am always looking for something to prevent him from snoring or make it so he is snoring much quieter. While I had high hopes for this device it didn't really help. I don't think he was snoring any quieter. Additionally while he might have been snoring slightly less it wasn't really noticeable.As far as putting it on adjusting it wasn't the easiest thing in the world to do for yourself so I was helping him adjust it. Once it was on it seemed like it was either too tight and pulling on his ears or it would fall off while he was sleeping. For these reasons I wouldn't recommend it.

I ordered this HOTSLHX sleep device to try as an alternative to a cpap machine. I wish it worked well for me, but I found that this provides pulses and I didn’t like the feeling when it alarmed me. I didn’t always find it easy to fall back asleep, but sometimes I did. I tried a less strong setting, and I didn’t notice the alerts as much, and so I couldn’t tell if it was working or not. This may work for some, but it just wasn’t something I was able to get used to… I will update the review if I am able to get better use out of it.

I wanted this to be useful... It did not help with my snoring though it did make me more tired during the day. The strap could not be adjusted to a comfortable length and it pulled on my ears and my hair helping to prevent sleep. Like others, the vibration tended to wake me when I was asleep... all of waking also prevented a restful sleep. I may not snore when I wear this, but everyone else will feel the pain of my bitchiness if I sleep poorly.I cannot recommend this, though it might work for someone with a smaller head who is bald? I am rating it three stars, as there must be a use for this device for someone else. As always, your mileage and preferences may vary...

I think it's supposed to massage the apneas and hypoglycials or something, but it shocks you when you snore. If that helps wake you up and reposition so your wife doesn't kick you, that's not a bad thing. But it's still a shock collar.There are many, MANY approaches to helping people not get kicked by their wives when they snore. This is one of them. Is it better than shoving a plug up your nose, or wearing a spandex chin strap, or wearing an anti-snore earpiece? I don't know. That's why they have so many of them. Find what works for you. This might do it, because you can set it so it will shock you before your wife kicks you.Give it a shot and see what your wife thinks. Plus you don't have to shove anything up your nose.
