Keratin Salon Direct Treatment - Salon Quality, No Flat Iron Needed (4 oz)

I ordered this version so I wouldn't have to use a flat iron. I read every piece of paper that came with the tube and followed the instructions exactly. I read a lot about this smelling on your hair if you don't follow the rinse instructions carefully, so I timed how long I rinsed exactly, between one and two minutes. Also, even though I used my blow dryer to dry my hair, and then waited another hour to be certain it was completely dry, I decided to use my flat iron after it was dry because I knew the results would be better. This stuff is amazing at first. It was easy to blow it out smooth. I let it air dry and scrunched it with my hands, and my curls were nice and defined with no frizz. I got compliments on my hair that day. It definitely looks better, whether I wear it straight or let it air dry. I have been washing it every day since I applied it; I walk every morning and I'm too sweaty when I get in not to wash it. I decided to see how long it would work. I would say it started wearing off after three weeks, and I am using Babyliss Keratin shampoo and conditioner I ordered from Amazon. Even though my very wavy/curly and frizzy hair is coming back, this stuff is still working when I use my blow dryer. It doesn't take nearly as long to dry, and it takes only a few passes for it to straighten. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. I have hair almost to my shoulders; I used only half a tube for my first application, so if it lasts me a month or more it will be worth the price. It definitely makes a big difference in how frizzy it is.

I used it tonight for the first time so I'll have to see how long it lasts. But coming from someone who got Brazilian blowouts for the last 7 years this is just as good only cheaper. I now have short hair with alot of frizz so 1 bottle will give me 3 uses. It was easy to use and did not affect my color. Update it helped for about 1 week

I’ve spent plenty on salon keratin treatments over the years, so I decided to try this at home—and I’m glad I did. It’s very easy to use. There’s some confusion in other reviews about whether a flat iron is needed: the instructions say it isn’t required, but also mention it as an option. In my experience, that makes sense—some hair textures are more resistant. My hair is curly/wavy, so I used a flat iron on a few of the curliest sections around the base of my head, and it made a noticeable difference. I live in a humid climate, and my hair has stayed smooth and easy to blow-dry for over two months now. I was also pleasantly surprised by how far the product goes. My hair is short, so I used only what I needed and still have enough left for two more treatments—meaning this one tube will save me several hundred dollars compared to salon pricing. I’m really happy this is available for home use and highly recommend it.

I love the product and very easy to use. My hair is very curly and it is so much easier to use flat iron for the smoothness. I will be ordering this product again. This is an update when I reordered it again i did not have the great results.

I usually do not write reviews, but I was extremely dissatisfied with this product. I use at home hair color since over 20 years, so I do know what I am doing. I have thick wavy hair which tends to be frizzy, so I when I read the description I thought I give it a try even when it is rather expensive. Well, the smell mentioned is still lingering after the 3rd time I washed and conditioned my hair. Even worse, the frizz came back back after the 2nd wash!! Very, very disappointing.

Well, so far so good… my hair feels very silky and smooth. I love it. The frizz is gone. I hope it lasts I think it’s important to follow instructions Don’t over rinse it out. I did flat iron it after blow drying. I wanted to lock in the keratin. I’ve tried several masks, other keratin treatments, but this one is the best so far. I will review it again in a couple months to determine the longevity of the treatment. I don’t over wash my hair and I used good good so I’m very hopeful

I have longer, wavy, some frizz hair. Used the express as directed and flat ironed over it to ensure maximum frizz free. Applied and went on vacation for 3 weeks to a slightly humid environment. I would say for the price and quality I would not use again. The products doesn’t remove as much frizz as some of the other keratin treatments I’ve used for 1/2 the price. Also if you are looking for it to straighten hair it doesn’t at all. It will still wave up and be a little frizzy. I usually use a keratin once a year and it helps with my frizz and keeping my hair pretty straight (not waving back up) in humidity, this one did neither, just 30% less frizz. I’ll be ordering another product to apply before summer.
