These are definitely shorts for a younger person or someone who is comfortable in shorter shorts. The waist is higher, so you don't have the "muffin" top. However, they are short & can't really be worn without being cuffed. They look to "flarey" which is due to the fact they are cut that way with more material on the legs. If you have a fuller figure & don't like long grandma shorts, they'd be absolutely perfect. I'm 53 yrs old 5'3", 120 lbs. I wear them for yardwork to tan my legs. They're comfortable stretchy shorts but not really comfortable for me to wear out given my age & my inability to pull off young styles; )

The back cut goes up very high, like a bubble but shape, kinda weird. The rolled legs are too short... maybe i should get a medium? These are short shorts for sure but if you unroll them then they look kinda weird. I like the 3 buttons but am on the fence about length... they are shorter than pictured.

I have ordered several in the light wash, black, and dark denim. I love these shorts. I’m mid-thirties and 5’3” and the two options I always find would either make Daisy Duke blush with the amount of cheek that hangs out or knee length cut offs. These are the first ones that aren’t too long or too short that I’ve found in a long time. They also machine wash and dry very well. Highly recommend

I ordered the usual size, size zero for my daughter who has a 23” waist and 33” hips. She could barely button the zero. Returning for a size 1.
