Excellent product
I have a xd-mod2 with a laser sight on the bottom rail so finding a holster that worked great was hard, I took a chance and this one is perfect easy slide in and out without it getting caught or snagged on the top front sight, yet keeps it secure wearing it all day feels comfortable and I tend to forget im even wearing it.

Works better than expected
Three weeks in daily carry. So far so good. Using with LCR .357. Stays in place and more comforable than expected. Ended up removing the loop for the optional calf strap. Just not needed with such a light gun.

Good for short term use
I used this holster for my Glock 43 and on first sight I thought this was exactly what I needed, and in many ways it is. I wear slacks and dress shirts pretty much daily without a jacket so an IWB is not an option for me. First off the good : The pistol fits nice and snug into the elastic holder and covers the trigger and trigger guard fully as well as the magazine compartment. The Velcro is very strong, stitching is woven nicely. If you have big legs it will be a bit bulky but not very noticeable even in relaxed fit jeans. Now the bad : the retention clasp is very weak and takes little to no effort to come undone. The Velcro is in a position to where I have to spin the holster around my ankle to put it on then spin it around again to position it for wear. After drawing, it is very hard to re-holster. I can only wear it for (4-5 hours or less) because the gun presses on my ankle and the magazine on my shin making them both very sore due to not enough padding. If you wear socks under the holster it will slide down eventually and you will have to readjust the holster due to the holster sliding on the sock. You have to tuck the D-ring inside or it will bounce against the gun and make noise as you walk ( not really sure why it is even there in the first place.)

Works good for my needs.....
This holster works good for me....I ordered the one for the right hand side, but I found out that it works better on the inside of my left leg....cross draw. On my right leg it did rub a little on my ankle bone that sticks out a little. On my left leg though...the ankle bone is flatter on the inside and have no issues. I don't wear it up on my calf...I wear it just above my sneaker. The Velcro sticks very well, it's comfortable, and because it's on the inside of my leg, the other leg hide it a little too. The reason I gave it 4 stars was for the re-holstering issue....need two hands to do it.So if you're at a restaurant where your legs are on full view, it's not noticeable. And if you had to draw it out, it looks like you're just itching your leg. I bought it to carry for those "unexpected circumstances" that could happen, but hope they don't. So yes...it is difficult to re-holster, but at that point that would be the least of your concerns. I did cut off a little of the strap that goes around the back of the pistol....about an inch. Was a little too long and made the pants stick out more than I liked. I also took off the metal loop...didn't need it. Look at the attached pics...I'm 5' 10" about 310 lbs, and it hides pretty well.

Not good for Shield
Not good for Shield. I should have just done what my gut was telling me and buy the name brand since I ended up doing that anyway.....The "universal fit" never does fit right. The thumb snap retention keeps un-snapping. This is due to my Shield being a thin firearm and the part with the snap being too long. It extends too far beyond rear of grip area and then bends around the high grip area. This causes lateral tension on the he snap and it comes undone with the least amount of movement as you walk. For the the extra couple bucks, The Apache is far better option and design. If carrying a backup gun is that important to you, then the couple extra bucks is by far worth it...

Ripped holster
I bought this ankle holster in July 18’.. I was extremely happy with it and it’s comfortable to wear.. this last week, the holster ripped in half, only leaving the material holding it together.. I would think it should last longer than 8 months.. so, happy, not happy with the product!

Descent for the price
Make sure you put this on your ankle “before” you put your gun in it. You’ll have a much more secure hold in place, on your ankle. This will keep you from readjusting it all day.... especially if you walk a lot

Keep safety close with comfort and durability
A surprisingly comfortable holster! Very satisfied with the quality and touch of the materials used. It also gives the impression that it will last forever. Strongly recommend for the gun aficionados and owners. Be safe!
