Very snug fit. I put it on the iPad mini and tossed it around the bed to test how it would hold up. The iPad never slipped or moved. Stayed snug and tight. It's a little hard to put on, however the way I see it is if it's hard to put on, it's going to be hard to take off. One thing to note. If you have a screen protector this case will push it off when you're putting it into the case. I found that if you take a popsicle stick and push up the side of the case it helps it fall into place and keep the protector on.
