Great American Gospel for Guitar (Easy Guitar with Notes & Tab)

Great book for someone who is a pro or semi-pro. This isn't for a beginner guitar player unless you're had extensive music training in other areas.

I am a beginning guitar student -- although of advanced years. I expected arrangements that were easier for a novice. That said, I will keep it for when I am am more advanced.

Song are written for beginners or amateur guitarists. If you want something for an expert guitarist, this book is not for you.

I love this guitar hymnal book so simple but sounds so intense

I knew most of the songs. ALL are playable for the novice using either tabs, nots or chords.

These "Easy Guitar" music books are ideal for beginners. The number of chords are limited and are clearly shown at the top of each song. The strum and picking patterns are shown at the front of the book and are referenced for each song. I was able to play both the melody and the chords in a few hours of practice. I recommend these books for beginning guitar players.

Only the first verse has chords. The rest of the verses are not corded and are listed at the bottom of each song. Not easy to chord and sing past the first verse unless you have memorized all verses. Chords are good though.

Great book, especially for a beginner. Comes with 9 strum and fingerpicking patterns, but each song also includes tab for its own specific fingerpicking that follows the vocal melody. Lots of songs with all verses.

Great book. Exactly what i was looking for.Has tabs and notes. Guide to finger picking patterns for each song as well as the strumming patterns. Came quick and nicely packaged.

I like to older hymns and this has most of the ones I was looking for....Good valueBook arrived on time and in good condition
