I'm going to make this review a long one because of all the ridiculous 1-star reviews I read. I find it hard to believe that this stuff lasted "2 hours" in someone's mouth without them possessing some sort of supernatural zombie-saliva. This stuff is absolutely fantastic.First, I've been wearing dentures for over 6 years. Until recently I had a full upper and partial (two "anchor" teeth) lower. I have tried (literally) every available cream, powder, or pad available. I've stayed with Sea-Bond pads the last few years because they were gentle on my gums and this is because they helped really "wedge" the plates in and allowed for some forgiveness in fit.I recently parted ways with my two "anchor teeth" and found that the Sea Bond pads, while continuing to work fine for the uppers, just didn't do it for me on the lowers. I decided I'd give my previously used creams another shot.I found the best grip with Effergrip followed by Fixodent (food) and finally, Poligrip. Fixodent seemed to work better with Effergrip when eating things like soups and chowders, but tougher foods were best handled with the Effergrip. It still didn't seem to be enough and I kept losing grip with the lower denture in a very short period unless I put so much on them that I had that feeling like I'd given my mouth a shot of anti-perspirant.Then, a friend in Europe recommended a product to me called "Fittydent". Through some research, I found that "Fittydent" (available on Amazon and about twice as expensive as "Secure") is distributed by a company called Bioforce as "SECURE".I ordered the cream and a set of lower denture cushions (because I'm used to using Sea-Bond).I tried it following the directions exactly (using three small ribbons on the bottom and four on top). The instructions describe "biting firmly" and then "waiting at least fifteen minutes before eating". Done.I was absolutely amazed. It felt like I had real teeth. For the first time in years (every year I've worn dentures, in fact) I felt completely secure eating. The dentures didn't budge. This is especially noteworthy because I'm due a re-line and my lower denture is actually getting pretty loose (gums healing).Yes, I felt the "burning sensation". Fortunately, I can read and understand what "non-toxic" means. I also tried the trick (described in the instructions) of spreading it out and letting it set 30 seconds before trying them. It still tingled a bit but the sensation does go away within (guess?) about fifteen minutes. From that point forward, they're in like they're bolted.My only concern was cleaning the dentures (and my MOUTH!) considering the instructions to use something with a pH "greater than 9". Freakout, right?! Nope. Baking Soda has a pH of 9. Milk of Magnesia has a pH of 10 (higher pH is the opposite of acidic for those who aren't familiar). Baking soda cleaned my dentures perfectly and a little bit on a washcloth with warm water cleaned my mouth completely.This stuff is amazing. Follow the directions. Don't be afraid of a little tingle. I ate corn-on-the-cob for the first time in 15 years today. If the "tingle" really, really, scares you, they have a version for "sensitive gums". I haven't tried it only because I'm so happy with the way the basic version of SECURE works I'm afraid of taking a step backward.I have also tried the denture cushions. They work equally fantastic and are easier to use than the creams, so I now go with the cushion on the bottom and the cream on the top. I take my dentures out every night, clean them, clean my mouth very well, and put the dentures back in (I was taught to do this by a somewhat unusual dentist when I had my first set made as an aid to healing and it has worked well for me since).On a recent trip I was forced to go without my ritual for one night and had great hold for about 40 hours. I still had to pull them out.Give it a shot. I hope everyone who tries is as amazed (and fortunate) as I have been.

WHAT I RECOMMEND REALLY ACTUALLY WORKS GREAT. OR I WOULDN'T BE WASTING MY TIME TYPING A LONG REVIEW. I BET YOUR JUST LIKE ME, YOU HAVE 10+ TUBES OF POLYGRIP SEABOND FIXODENT, AND YOU HAVE TEN THOUSAND DIFFERENT POLYGRIP PRODUCTS WHICH NON WORK LIKE THIS SECURE BRAND. I THINK POLYGRIP CHANGES THIER BOXES AND LIES EACH MONTH SO YOU SAY WELL MAYBE THIS EXTRA STRENGTH NEW ZINC FREE CRAP WILL WORK, AND YET IT NEVER DOES. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND BUY THIS SECURE PRODUCT, AND SETTING UP A AMAZON SUBSCRIPTION LIKE I HAVE, TWO TUBES EACH MONTH. THROW ALL THE OTHER POLYGRIP AND FIXODENT CRAP OUT WITH YOUR TRASH, AND STICK TO SOMETHING THAT WORKS. I DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY. I AM A DISABLED VETERAN WHO IS SICK OF BUYING PRODUCTS THAT DON'T WORK. OR A NEW UPGRADED POLYGRIP EXTRA STRENGTH NEW BOX, I BET IT'S THE SAME CRAP DIFFERENT BOX. EITHER WAY LISTEN TO ME, WHEN YOU APPLY THIS OUTSTANDING PRODUCT TO YOUR DENTURES DAILY. MAKE SURE THEY ARE DRY. THIS PRODUCT HAS A MINOR TASTE OF SOME SORT OF CHEMICAL WHEN YOU FIRST PUT YOUR DENTURE OR PARTIAL IN, IT GOES AWAY, CANT BE ANY WORSE THEN OUR TAP WATER, RIGHT LOL. EITHER WAY IF YOUR DENTURES OR PARTIALS ARE CLOSE TO DRY, APPLY AND PUT THEM IN AND YOUR BE SATISFIED FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A LONG TIME. THEY MAKE TWO DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF THIS. SENSITIVE AND NON SENSITIVE. I USE THE SENSITIVE, EXCELLENT PRODUCT. THIS ORIGINALLY CAME OUT IN EUROPE AND WAS CALLED NATURDENT, I WAS PAYING 20 BUCKS A TUBE FOR IT. GREAT STUFF, I DON'T MIND PAYING FOR A PRODUCT THAT ACTUALLY WORKS. THEN THEY MADE A US FORMULA CALLED SECURE, IS IT THE SAME? PRETTY MUCH. THE NATURDENT HAS A STRONGER CHEMICAL TASTE WHEN YOU APPLY IT. HONESTLY IT WORKED A LITTLE BETTER, BUT SECURE IS MADE FROM THE SAME FACTORY. EITHER WAY SECURE WORKS 150% BETTER THAN POLYGRIP AND ALL THE OTHER AMERICAN CRAP, I CANT WAIT TILL THE MAKERS OF POLYGRIP GET OLD AND HAVE TO USE A PRODUCT TO EAT OR GO IN PUBLIC WITH. AND THEY BUY SECURE BECAUSE IT REALLY WORKS. I WILL NOTE, THAT SOMETIMES I HAVE TO RE APPLY SECURE MORE THEN ONE TIME A DAY, BUT ITS NOT MESSY AND CLUMPY LIKE POLYGRIP. PLUS NOTE, I USE A PRODUCT CALLED PROSOFT IAW WITH THIS SECURE PRODUCT. SINCE THIS COMPANY DOES NTO OFFER IT, YOU SHOULD TRY A SINGLE USE OF PROSOFT AND YOU WILL BE OVERWHELMED, BUT YOU STILL NEED A DAILY ADHESIVE LIKE SECURE. I’m new to the denture game and have been trying many products including the brand new poligrip ultimate, which is ultimately garbage (didn’t even hold for 45 minutes, but that’s a different story). Secure is awesome, it holds all day long and into the next day. I love the fact that this adhesive is the only one that absorbs saliva and expands to fill in the gaps. The only complaint I have about secure is that eating anything oily will break the bond. Mine pop loose every time I eat a Twinkie, Twinkie's are really oily and will kill the adhesion. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised by this because the instructions even say for removal swish vegetable oil in your mouth. Problem with that is most foods have oil in them. Definitely don’t go to the fair and order anything deep fried to eat. What I find that really helps is sprinkling some polident powder over top of the secure. The poli isn’t affected by the oil and gives you a backup adhesion, but the poli by itself doesn’t last long at least not for me. (I’m still in the first several months of healing) powder is good when the dentures are tight, my gums are still quickly changing so I have gaps between the denture and the gums and the secure fills those gaps. I’d really love to see secure make a powder. Another downside is the secure can be difficult to remove from the denture, so if you’re out and about and your denture pops off, you’re out of luck. It takes me several minutes of scrubbing to get the secure off with my denture brush and Dawn. Who carries all this stuff around with them? That said, I also have a soft reline and secure works best with a hard reline according to their FAQ. Silicone which is what a soft reline is, is not adhesive friendly but secure latches on fairly well. I don’t believe I will ever find a better product.
