Amazing screen, Harmony Remote capable, bad remote, too short of power cable
If you can get beyond the cheap remote, short power cable, and requirement that this be delivered via a crappy shipper (was like $70 shipping that is charged after purchase regardless of Prime), this is an amazing screen!First the bad: The remote sucks. It is cheaply made and has buttons on it that aren't even hooked up to anything (it is a third party generic remote). Only the Up/DOWN/STOP do anything (which is fine as that's all you need to do) You have to point it directly -and I mean DIRECTLY - at the under side left on the screen (the little IR window). The power cord is hard wired to the unit which sucks because you can't add another longer cable and have to use an extension cord to power it (which makes it look like crap if you need to run it down a wall like we do).The not so good: as with any projector set up, unless you have a super bright projector, it is very hard to watch in the day time even with blinds closed. Because of the tiny holes in the screen for the acoustic transparency some light comes through the back (even when we close the blind on the windows behind the screen). Now the good: This screen has great picture quality (we do 1080p) and the acoustically transparent feature works flawlessly. We have had this screen for 9 months and never once has the motor jammed. Their tech support is great and prompt (had a few issues with how to use the remote)...and now the truly amazing: you CAN connect this to Alex using a Harmony Remote, app and hub (further referred to as Harmony). YOU DO NOT NEED TO BUY THEIR EXTRA REMOTE! (although you do need to buy the Harmony Remote with hub). The Harmony comes with an IR emitter that is on a long cable. If you position this under and a bit forward of the screen , the Harmony will control it when you add the Elite Screen IR into the app (scroll through the device options and Elite Screens will be a choice). After adding all of my other home theater devices to the Harmony app and setting up a "scene" (called it 'TV'), I can, with a single press of a button, make the screen come down, turn my projector on and turn my receiver on to the correct input. Then, with the Harmony Alexa skill, you can control it all with Alexa. We just say "Echo, turn on TV" and it sends the code to the Harmony and activates the TV scene. Then, we programmed an 'OFF' sequence in the scene so when we say "Echo, turn off TV" it turns everything off!Oh, and absolutely let this screen hang open for a couple days. Any wrinkles in the screen (yes, they all have them) will work themselves out. At least they did on mine...

Not for up close viewing
Let me start off giving you my set up:Media Room- 11W x 17D x 8HSeating positions: 2 Rows (9’6” and 15’)Projector: LG HU810PBDO NOT purchase this screen is you want to sit up close. Sharpness of the screen is great at > 16’. Any closer you will be able to see perforations. Especially during bright scenes. It unwatchable at my first row as the picture looks pixelated due to the perforations. Additionally, the gain on the screen causes the pictures to be grey. Great for bright rooms, not so great for dark rooms. I have to increase the iris or set my projector on standard color on my projector to prevent pictures from looking too dark. Not something I was expecting.During installation, I noticed I had the version 1. Which means the plastic grommets are what the projector comes with. It’s an ok assembly. I noticed during my last few grommets, when attaching the screen to the frame, the material stretches. Which is a cause for concern.Frame is sturdy and the connections for the frames are solid. I would’ve preferred the tension bar system of the version 2.In summary:DO NOT get us sitting closer than 16’. Great sharpness and picture above 16’. Colors not as bright in cinema mode unless in a dark room. Even then, it’s only ok. Good in standard mode (will need to calibrate). Grey screen color doesn’t help.

Easy enough to assemble. Thin border looks great! Acoustic screen?
Long story short - I accidentally bought Elite Screens' "Cinegray" screen, thinking I'd bought a "regular" white screen. A 15% restocking fee later (>$100) and then I purchased this screen. It sat boxed in my basement for over a year while we remodeled & delayed the theater, but finally I recently had a chance to get around to it.AUHD? I didn't even know what it meant when I looked at the box. Acoustic Ultra High Def? Oh no. I bought the wrong one again?! Kind of. I did not intend to buy an Acoustic screen. I simply wanted a 120" screen with small bezels. I used to own the more popular screen of the same size (120") and the giant bezels really never sat well with me.Anyway, learning about the acoustic screen I owned, I changed some of my design ideas and decided to put the speakers behind the screen. In the end, I'm completely satisfied with this happy accident. The screen...Assembly took me about 90 minutes by myself. The instructions were clear, and I never had to redo a step from overlooking something. The most tedious part is installing some hooks that hold a piece of black fabric in place - I never quite understood the purpose of the black fabric (installed behind the projector screen, attached to the back of the bezel), but it's in there.I did rip a piece of the velcro but that simply taught me to be more careful along the way. In the end, it came out almost flawless.I absolutely love it. High priced but it looks fantastic and the hidden front speakers are a really neat party trick.I would buy this again.
