The M2 EVO is a great little helicopter that flies bigger than it is. Easily and cheaply repaired if you crash. Good first helicopter, that is fun to fly.

It would have been nice if you could just bind it strait to a dsm transmitter without getting a satellite receiver. I got a satellite receiver and then discovered even though I had two receivers that were compatible with satellite receivers they weren't comparable with that particular model of satellite receiver that I got so had to find a friend with a receiver that it would work with to bind my radio, then it worked. But it was way frustrating paying $380 plus $45 and still not being able use it for a few days. I also don't like that unless your in 3d the helicopter is in some flight mode with training wheels. I'm used to my blade where you take off in 2d mode where the blade pitch is locked and the speed of the blades controls your up and down, then when your ready you switch it to full 3d mode and now your blades go fast the whole time and you vary the pitch to go up and down and whatever else. I don't like the training wheels mode because I had almost no control but having to start on the ground in 3d mode is a little scary. But overall I liked the direct drive but I wasn't able to hover it in one place without it drifting in the direction of even the slightest input. I probably could have spent lots of time tuning my transmitter settings but with no instructions from the manufacture and having to rely entirely on Utube videos I never found anyone who had theirs setup that way I liked it. I eventually returned it because I figured out that I didn't like flying it. It was too small to be exciting and too expensive to be fun.

Had bad battery felt there was something wrong with with unit. If you don't know how to set up don't recommend starting with this version. Built very well, if you buy from company much cheaper.

This is the best heli you can buy in this size class. I have both the M1 and M2 now and I love them. Super good if you're just starting out or if you're already a pro

I buy because a friend tail was shaking a tight bolts that was loses was flyable don’t like the shake what is causing the vibration I don’t know but not for me I need a easy I will try the S1

Absolutely well built. No issues binding to any of my spectrum, radiomaster radios. Flies like a champ, definitely get more batteries, you're gonna need them. Had it for a few months now with probably 100 flights without issues. 3D is like magic, and not as scary was with my 700 SAB. Great job Omphobby!

I just reviewed the M1. I love the M1 so much that I saw M2 at the reduced price, I had to get it. The listing had a new M2 with box damage. Something pierced the outer box and hit the foam case where the top and bottom halves met. It is unnoticeable so I scored as a win. The foam case was unopened and had its cellophane wrap intact. However, when I inspected the M2 I saw that the canopy had damage. I didn’t see it right away because I was camouflaged by the decal stripes. The frame had punctured a hole in the canopy right between two stripes seam. I just noticed a bulge in the canopy. Upon inspection it is apparent the shipment was dropped hard enough for the frame to shift inside the canopy causing the damage. No biggie because it’s hard to notice. I bought the purple canopy from the earlier version of the M2 because I didn’t like the original white canopy. So I got a replacement if needed. The white is growing on me so I’ll keep it as is until the purple is needed. The M2 is great to look at. I am still waiting for a new transmitter to bind to the DSMX satellite I purchased. I’ll add flight review later.

Il modello si presenta molto carino, pulito nei cablaggi e ottimi materiali. Unico problemino è che dopo averlo bindato (con satellite spektrum, radio spektrum dx8 gen2) il piatto in modalità normale si inclina sulla destra, lo accendo su superficie piana ma continua ad inclinarsi. Prima di mandarlo in volo vorrei chiedere: è capitato a qualcuno di voi? È normale? Posseggo un blade 230s con lo stesso problema ed in volo gira bene, non so se agire sul sistema di stabilizzazione o è tutto ok così. Grazie.AGGIORNAMENTOProblema risolto! Sul web ho trovato il manuale di istruzioni dove spiega il volo di trimmaggio per livellare il piatto e l’eventuale stabilità. Tutto ok. Da provare.

Cet hélicoptère est similaire à un M2v2. Il est un peu plus long et les moteurs (principal et anti-couple) sont plus puissants et plus volumineux que ceux qui équipaient le M2v2. Les pales principales sont plus longues et les pales d'anti-couple sont plus larges et aussi plus longues, ce qui évite les hurlements hystériques auxquels on était habitué avec un M2v2.Ici, on a une tête de rotor Fbl au lieu d'une tête DFC. On a donc quatre points d'appui sur le plateau cyclique, ce qui est supposé rendre l'ensemble plus stable (avec des vitesses de rotation faibles).Le train d'atterrissage et la bulle restent compatibles avec les anciens M2. Le M2 Evo est bien plus énervé et puissant que le M2v2. On s'en rend compte dès que les moteurs commencent à tourner. Comme les autres M2, malgré une puissance plus élevée et une agilité accrue, le M2 Evo reste très stable.Il s'agit sans doute de l'un des meilleurs hélicoptères à pas variable de cette taille. A ma connaissance, son seul concurrent est le Goosky S2 qui présente des prestations similaires pour un prix plus élevé.

Premetto che non sono un elicotterista alle prime arami, non sono un super esperto, ma diciamo che pratico elimodellismo da circa 20 anni.Mi son deciso ad acquistare questo OMP V2 perchè ero alla ricerca di un modello di dimensioni piccole adatte per volare nel prato dietro casa (comunque bello ampio) e che fosse MENO PERICOLOSO (gli elicotteri radiocomandati sono tutti MOLTO MA MOLTO PERICOLOSI) di quelli di taglia 450, 500, 600 che possiedo, ma richiedono di volare esclusivamente in un campo volo.COME ARRIVA e SETUP per volare:Il modello arriva "pronto al volo" e nel mio caso è stato sufficiente acquistare solo un satellite dmsx (protocollo Spektrum) per fare il bind e iniziare il setup per volare.Qui i primi problemi. il modello arriva con un manuale minuscolo (ovviamente si può andare sul sito della casa produttrice e si può scaricare il pdf alla sezione supporto) scritto davvero minuscolo e descrive tutte le procedure in modo a mio parere poco chiaro. Fate molta attenzione e se non siete tranquilli togliete almeno le pale del rotore di testa (lo consiglia anche il manuale). Qui il secondo problema...Rimuovendo le pale di di testa si scoprono 2 sottilissime piastrine (spessori) tondi forati che una volta rimossi impiegherete molto, ma molto tempo a rimontare correttamente. Consiglio di usare una piccolissima quantità di colla epo per non impazzire.Il setup non è così semplice come fanno credere molti video che sponsorizzano il prodotto e dopo il primo volo penso dovrò ancora lavorarci molto per trovare la giusta sensibilità e usarlo in modo adatto per me.In nessun manuale poi si fa riferimento al setup digitale dello swash plate (NORM/120°); nel manuale è riportata esclusivamente la procedura per modificare la configurazione di fabbrica del controller di volo (sensibilità giroscopio, centrature dei servo ecc) e nient'altro.Sicuramente è un prodotto per esperti quindi "principianti" statene BEN LONTANIQUALITA'Il prodotto è TUTTO di OTTIMA qualità, ad eccezione della capottina. Non mi spiegherò mai perchè TUTTI i produttori di elicotteri fanno queste capot così millimetricamente giuste, anzì STRETTE, tanto da impazzire a infilarle e chiuderle, dopo aver già connesso la batteria e iniziare a volare già col NERVOSO! Consiglio, fate altri fori in modo da guadagnare 0.5/0.75cm chiudendola finalmente con comodità!!GIUDIZIONON E' ASSOLUTAMENTE UN MODELLO PER PRINCIPIANTI!Il motore ha una potenza inaudita e se mai per sbaglio vi partisse involontariamente e non siete rapidi/pronti a capire cosa succede e rispegnerlo, subireste gravi danni a mani faccia e oggetti circostanti.In volo stabilizzato (Attitude Mode) è STABILE SI! MA NON FACILE!Do solo 3 stelle perchè volevo un elicottero meno complicato da settare e tutti lo descrivono bene o male così, ma non lo è! A mio parere è un ottimo elicottero, ma richiede molta attenzione e impegno per farlo funzionare a dovere. Molto meglio il t15 Align (che possiedo) per intendersi, anche se molto più piccolo, che una volta configurato tramite app-mobile (chiara e semplice) vola subito e bene.Ci lavorerò sopra per capire come renderlo giusto per il mio comando.MODIFICA-> Finalmente son riuscito a configurarlo sui miei gusti e livello di volo. E' mostruso!! Sembra davvero di pilotare un classe 700!! Lascio 4 Stelle per le cose scritte prima: Modalità di smontaggio e rimontaggio pale da rivedere assolutamente e la copote troppo stretta. Per il resto UNA BOMBA!
