Yes and I have zero regrets about it!Christian Harper, the man that you are! He is my new obsession, there is no doubt about that. He always kept his distance from Stella, until she needed him most. He is very 'morally grey' but he is also just too perfect for words. Hot, rich, would do anything for Stella. I think he could've told Stella about the files or at least destroyed them before she found them, but to me it just seems like he completely forgot about them as he no longer needed them.Stella is my favourite FMC in this series. After being talked down to by her family for years, she decide's that enough is enough and sticks up for herself against their harsh comments and critiques. I found myself highlighting countless quotes by Christian, showcasing his undeniable obsession with Stella. Overall, Twisted Lies is a great book and I look forward to read more from Ana Huang!

Book Review ⭐️ Twisted Lies(May contain spoilers)When I started reading this book I instantly felt a connection with Stella through her overthinking and anxiety issues. Christian is introduced as a very cold and distant character, as he has been in his small appearances throughout the series.Stella is working hard to establish herself as an influencer that will entice enough brand deals to help her support a mother-figure living in a care facility. One way she is told she could gain more followers is having a boyfriend, although Stella has no interest in a relationship, so Christian suggests a fake relationship between may work.While this is all going on, Stella also discovers an old stalker is back in town, and he always seems to be lurking around. One thing leads to another, eventually Stella is living with Christian, and things start to heat up between them, as much as she tries to resist the dark, dangerous man that is keeping her safe.Christian desires Stella, but tries to stay away, scared his darkness with taint her light, but eventually they give into each other 🔥There are some familiar faces from the other Twisted books, and the epilogue + extra scenes online round off the whole series quite nicely.It’s definitely a slow burn romance, with a strong “Touch her and die” arc from Christian. Some very spicy scenes that could be a little triggering 🥵🌶️🌶️🌶️

This was a real slow burner for me and I struggled to get into it quite a bit. The stalker part made absolute no sense to me whatsoever and I feel was extremely random. I struggled to feel the chemistry between the characters also. The part I did enjoy hearing about other characters from throughout the series it tied it up nicely. The painting was also a strange concept in this book it didn't really feel needed. I feel the writer needs to widen her vocabulary as quite a few phrases and descriptions are very over used in this series. Fisted and drawled began to become very tedious to listen to. This was definitely my least favourite of the series sadly.

Really enjoyed this final book in the Twisted series and the fake dating trope was fun.As with the other books in the series the chemistry was great and the relationship between Stella and Christian was hot.Whilst the stories were good, the writing across the series wasn’t always the best. There were lots of repeated phrases, continuity errors and quick frankly some basic spelling and grammatical errors that should have been picked up during editing but having said that I still enjoyed the books and will certainly move on to the Kings of Sin series.4.5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 (rounded up)

What an end to one heck of a series. The perfect combination of sweet, spicy, sassy and swoony, this last book really brought everything together!.Right off the bat, Christina and Stella’s story is both the same and different. Christian, unlike the other guys in the Twisted series, has no problem internally admitting he’s a little obsessed with Stella. Like a puzzle he wants to crack, her entire being is an enigma to him. Soft and kind, generally happy and selfless, Stella is nothing like the people Chrisitan has surrounded himself with. Nothing like himself. He’s cold and aloof, quick to venegage and selfish to the core. Except when it comes to Stella..Packed with ‘Only Soft For Her’ goodness, Twisted Lies took me down a complicated and emotional journey featuring a man who didn’t know how to feel, and a woman who felt everything. The way Stella helped Christina soften and grow and open up was SO good. The tender moments peppered throughout the book left me craving more, leaving me devouring this huge book in one day. Waiting for these two to finally crack under the pressure and let go was so fun and even hotter when it finally happened. Ana Huang is not an author to sleep on and a must-read author for me after this!!

𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐧.𝐈'𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮.𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐛𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭, 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞.Hace mucho que un libro no me hacía sentir tantas emociones, llevaba esperando leer TL desde que salió, y no lo había hecho, porque este es uno de esos libros en los que necesito tener la copia fisica en mis manos para poder disfrutar la historia, vaya que la disfrute , en serio que esperaba mucho de esta pareja y no me decepcionaron.Christian y Stella, cumplieron con mis expectativas, explosivos, misteriosos, perfectos el uno para el otro, su historia se ha convertido en mi favorita de toda la serie, los ame mucho, les juro que todo el libro me sentí cómo si fuera su mal tercio, porque estaba tan adentrada en la historia que me sentí parte de ella.Ame a los personajes individualmente, creo que cada uno con sus inseguridades, su pasado y sus momentos juntos me ganaron por completo (Sorry not sorry Josh&Jules), y la forma en la que la autora incluyó a los personajes de los otros 3 libros en el final de este, se me hizo increíble, enserio que sentí cómo esta serie se terminó y wow!!! Me ha fascinado, el epílogo 10 de 10.Debo decir que conecte con Stella en otro nivel enserio que este personaje me lo llevo en el corazón, su dulzura, creatividad, la forma de ver el mundo y sobre todo, el esfuerzo que puso en cada momento para llegar a ser la Stella Alonso que vemos al final me hizo muy feliz.Se sabe que de Christian Harper no hay nada que decir, si han leído el libro saben que este hombre es un sueño, la perfección en todo el esplendor de la palabra, quiero uno así ya !En fin, no me queda nada más que decirles, CORRAN a conocer a mi hombre si aún no lo han hecho, no se van a arrepentir!!

Loved it 💕 best book for me out of all twisted series

I enjoyed reading the twisted series, twisted lies was one of my favourite. Couldn't stop reading once I started and finished the book in 2 days. However, the quality of books from publisher Piatkus is disappointing. I'm always careful with the spine of the book when reading but regardless the spine already looks like worn out with visible creases. I noticed the books from this publisher crease faster than the books from the other publisher (slightly larger book). The quality of the paper also feels cheap from Piatkus compared to the paper from the other publisher. Perhaps that's why the price is cheaper. Nonetheless, I loved the series!
