Okay so I came across these because I’m obsessed with the EmBeba diaper balm and I am floored. They are so cool! My son had so many bug bites from 4th of July and couldn’t stop itching them. He hates the smell of the itch cream we have so it’s a small battle to even get it on him and then he goes to play it just smears off. These little patches go right on the spot and he absolutely loves them. They seem to stop the itch pretty instantly. Also not sure how it’s possible, but straight out of the box they are totally cool to the touch. They are also so cute! Definitely buying more!

Unfortunately, I don’t see any improvement on the skin after use. The adhesive doesn’t have a chance with the southern heat & pool season. (The patch constantly falls off)

They kept falling off

Useful for bug bites and itchy things on your skin. Covering up an itchy bite with these not only helps treat the issue but it prevents you from fully scratching it which could cause more problems. Handy to have on hand and tuck into your bag if you’re going to be out in nature.

Both my daughter and I have extremely sensitive skin. We typically use hydrocortisone to stop the itch but sometimes it get so itchy that even that doesn't work. These are really a nice way to both relieve the itch AND to cover the patch of itchy skin to prevent further itching. Many times the itching is an unconscious behavior and having this cover the patch of itchy skin helps a bundle. Since these are little gel patches I actually keep mine in the fridge as the cooling seems to help with the itchy. It was way too easy for my daughter to pull off, I did use one for myself while we were out camping and it did take away the itch.

Pros:Come three to a package, and say to use within one year of purchase.The package is resealable.For children with skin sensitivity issues, the heart shape design makes them more likely to be OK with it being applied to the skin.They have an instant cool feeling upon application.These remind me of story about a raccoon who leaves to go to school, and his mother provide some comfort with an item like this. I can see how little children would find comfort in having something like this on their skin, to feel that they are loved.Because they are a solid red color, a child cannot see the affected area on the skin underneath it, so they feel better.Cons:The cost of each patch is more expensive than other itch relief patches.When removing them from the foil package, my fingers got sticky. There’s extra gel around the outside edges that stuck to my fingers.I had to wash my hands right after applying, so that I could get off the extra sticky residue.They do not stick. After applying, it had fallen off within the hour.I do not know how effective it is at relieving the inch, because it didn’t stay on long enough.These patches do have their purposes for kids who get a little “boo-boo” and want to have it “kissed better”.For the rest of us, it just does not adhere to the skin well, and you’re better off getting a patch that will stay on to relieve the itch longer.
