Great product - replaced my 3 year old robot mower. Was able to use same wire, just needed to add a third wire to complete circuit - I have St Augustine grass, best at 4", but gardena only goes to 2". Best thing able gardena, I can hose the underside with water to remove grass cuttings. Love the limited bluetooth functions and scheduling. Wish it had GPS and/or wifi. Gets stock once in a while at uneven grounds. Most of the time, just backup and continues in another direction. Not heavy at all. Next robot mower, will buy one that cuts 4" high. 9/6/23 = After a firmware update, mower stopped working. Unit still under warranty. Called, got my RMI and returned robomower to have unit set. Not sure if they did or not, just know unit return exactly with same defect. Unit did not looked as if it was even worked on. Took pictures and video and customer service would not help any further other than questioning my setup. I gave up. No more gardena for me. Lost customer forever.

Let me say how excited I was to be buying this product. After spending about 20 hours setting it up, I was very disappointed to find the product didn’t work. After that, I spent another 10 hours, going back-and-forth thru the disjointed support mechanisms that Gardena put in place, arriving on, I would send back the device, so they could repair it. I would have preferred receiving a new one, and letting them restock the device, but they were not open to that. When I received the “repaired” device back, it was destroyed. See attached photos. Don’t waste your time with this product or this company. If they respected your time, they would issue you a new device, once they learned they sent you a broken one!

This is almost the perfect lawn mower. Set up is pretty easy, but time consuming and the instructions could be better. The big problem is that it cuts the grass very low even when it is set at its highest setting and this is especially bad when you live in California and dealing with hot weather.

I’ve given up on this mower; this model is the City, out of the box I’ve put on the charging station and even though it says it’s charging it is not. I’ve check the plug voltage, voltage out of the charging dock, tried three different mowers, docks, power supplies. Amazon has been great by the way, exchanged the mowers, arranged UPS pickups for each return, unfortunately I don’t think I will ever buy another Gardena product again. The mower is currently still plugged in, says it’s charging but it is not - waiting to hear back from the manufacturer, if I don’t hear back in the next day or two….it’s going back, really disappointed! UPDATE: NEVER got this mower to WORK, purchased the Husqvarna 115H and for $70 more it’s far superior to this piece of garbage - the app is far better and it was charged out of the box! I really won’t waste your time on this one - even though it’s the same maker as the Automower 115h, there’s no comparison because it works.

I have been using my Sileno City for a little over a year now, and it's been wonderful! I have had a few issues with it going out of the boundary, but not enough to be aggravating. My lawn is perfect all the time, and it makes a great conversation piece! We have named her Mow-lawn-a and she has proven to be reliable and efficient! The setup is a bit of a beast, but totally worth it in the long-run. In addition to a beautiful lawn, I love the fact that you don't get grass clippings on your feet when you walk around :)
