Great CD.
Although I liked the Country Gentlemen CD, at least 2 of the songs on one of the discs skipped and I had to return to Amazon.

Country Gentlemen begins here
Lots of great tracks and many of my old favorites, some never before issued at all and some not otherwise available on CD. Great to hear "The Devil's Own" and "Traveling Dobro" again after several decades. And the liner notes are first rate.

As a fan of the Gents for years, I ...
As a fan of the Gents for years, I struck gold by discovering this gem, reliving the formative years prior to the 'Classic Gents' configuration, then following them into their prime. The liner notes provide a history lesson with recording details and context. The reording technology isn't what it is nowadays of course, but for anyone who appreciates roots music, we don't mind that. This is 'must have' for anyone interested enough to be reading this.

Absolutely Great Recording
Great recording of the Original Gent's. A lot of history here, and top talent of that era!!!
