Simply an Amazing Ride!
What can I say about this ride... two words... BUY IT! This ride should be in any drummers ride collection. I own a 20” Zildjian K Heavy Ride and a 21” Byzance Dark Ride, both over the $350 + range and this ride beats both of them. Honestly my favorite ride. For the price is a bargain. The ping on this ride is awesome and the bell is clear. Won’t recommend to crash on it, the ride I received it’s pretty heavy, much heavier than my K Heavy Ride. Also I would recommend this ride most for Rock, but it can be used to many types of music. All depends the dynamics used on it. So happy with the purchase and the packaging was very professional. Do yourself a favor and BUY IT! Also people BE SAFE with the COVID-19.

not your usual hybrid!
Ive never been a huge fan of crash/rides, solely because they usually are below average as both. This thing definitely defies that standard. Has a great warm tone with a very quick decay. Riding it I'd call it average as far a cleanliness and control. Nothing crazy, but the breadth of tones you can produce with out muddying the tone or washing out is amazing. The bell is nice and large and projects, you can crash it and ride the bell without even affecting the crash carrying out its duties. The crash is heavy and very gong like, great for heavy, or very textured/epic music. Dont even get me started on the looks.

Extremely loud. Agreed on other review of sounding bright ...
Extremely loud. Agreed on other review of sounding bright . Arrived with "dark" finish chipping off. Have been playing it lightly once a week at practice for a year and has huge bend in side

Arguably Good, with Caveats
I like the dark collection. The 22” Crash/Ride is not my favorite. One, it rings like a gong. If you’re using this as a crash you’re going to want to use it VERY sparingly. And it’s very loud. Had to tape the hell out of it to use it in my micro-studio. Two: As a ride… Not great. It bell rides very nicely, but really no better than the 18” dark crash. Overall, if you have space to spare, it’s not bad, but for the size of it, only using it for an occasional crash or bell rides… I don’t think it’s worth it. Get a dedicated ride cymbal instead.

Killer ride
Awesome dark ride. Love the ping and the tone of it. Just a little washy at low volumes. If you play rock or metal you’ll LOVE this ride

Great ride cymbal
This ride met and exceeded all expectations. Great ping that cuts through the track, especially when playing blasts at high bpm where every cymbal hit needs to be able to cut through the rest of the blast beat.
